Hillary 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Lodi, NJ

I am a college graduate with my master’s and bachelor’s in electrical engineering. I’ve worked for a summer tech camp where I had to supervise a group of 20 or so campers between the ages of 5-13. I also have tutored kids in that age range. I have 3 cats of my own and have had them for 5 years now. I am very positive, energetic, and detail oriented.

Hillary has been babysitting for us for a couple of months now and she has been great with our daughter! She has good availability and can also help with math and science if needed

Hi! I’m Ja’Lea, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that caring for children is something I genuinely love. I’ve been a preschool teacher assistant for the past three years, and every day reminds me why I chose this field. Watching children learn new skills, celebrate little accomplishments, and grow into their own personalities is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I truly can’t imagine doing anything else. In addition to working in a preschool, I also work as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. This role has given me valuable experience supporting children with a wide range of needs while strengthening my patience, communication, and ability to adapt to each child’s unique personality and learning style. Working with these incredible children has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career, and they truly hold a special place in my heart. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, heard, encouraged, and free to have fun. I’m very hands-on and love getting involved in whatever excites them—whether that’s dancing to Danny Go!, coloring, reading stories, building with blocks, playing imaginative games, or exploring fun, age-appropriate activities. I don’t believe in simply “watching” children; I enjoy interacting with them, helping them learn, and making sure they have a great time while they’re in my care. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for children with a variety of needs and daily routines. I’m comfortable with diaper changes, bathing or shower assistance, helping with brushing teeth, meal and snack times, and keeping children engaged throughout the day. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, clear communication, and creating a structured environment where children feel comfortable and confident. Parents can count on me to be dependable, attentive, and someone who treats every child with the same kindness, respect, and care that I would want for my own family. My goal is always to give parents peace of mind, knowing their child is not only safe, but genuinely cared for, having fun, and in the hands of someone who truly loves what they do. I look forward to meeting your family and creating a positive, trusting relationship with both you and your little one!

Ja’Lea was great to work with. Punctual. Easy to communicate with. My son had a great experience.

Daniela $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I am looking for a full-time nanny position in Bergen county. Fun fact about me is that I am the 6th of 14 children. I have cared for children personally all of my life and professionally for 8 years and I have over 5 years of infant care.My skills include cooking, cleaning, and arts and crafts. I'm extremely outgoing, fun and love helping children excel and grow. Throughout my experience not only being a nanny but also being a big sister I find the best thing for a child is structure, good communication, and love. Children thrive with organized space and a consistent schedule and I enjoy providing that, along with the love and support they need to succeed. I am willing to work with a family's needs as well as the individual needs of the child/children. I hope that I am the nanny that your family is looking for and look forward to hearing from you!

I genuinely love working with children and take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for them to grow and explore. I am currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at Felician University, where I am learning best practices in child development, classroom management, and supporting children with special needs. I enjoy engaging kids in creative activities like reading, crafts, music, and outdoor play, while encouraging kindness, patience, and confidence. My goal is always to care for children as if they were my own, giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is happy, safe, and supported.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
