Ms Las Vegas
$18 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Dennin and I've had a life filled with babysitting others, beginning at age 12, caring for my siblings and the neighbors young children in the evenings on weekends. I've taken care of professional athletes families, from newborns through teens in the privacy of their own homes & at times while traveling with the family to various cities so the wife could attend his games or simply to go on a family vacation. In the early 2000's, I became nanny for an 8 year old daughter of a young woman who was coping with a very delicate pregnancy. We shared months of library visits, ice skating lessons, swimming lessons and more as she was a very active child. The following year I cared for a 7 year old boy that had just lost his Mother. Some needs are for attention & comfort, for both the parents and the children. I was also affiliated with the agency, A Childs Garden in Phoenix, AZ which referred professional babysitters out to the concierge of resorts for traveling parents on vacation, attending conventions, or simply taking a day or evening out on the town away from the children. The kids & I had a great time while the parents were out. I am a mature, responsible and dependable adult that would love to caretake your children when you're in need. We'll spend time doing creative things together as I'm able to entertain any age group, indoors, outdoors, while playing games or interacting learning experiences, helping them with homework, upcoming projects or other creative endeavors your children enjoy indulging in. I'm also available for companionship, either to a child or an adult that may reside alone, in need of transportation for shopping, doctors visits, and accompanying one to a sports, musical, show or social event. At present I am a companion to a recently widowed woman & attentive to her weekly shopping, doctors visits, postal runs, social entertainments etc. That schedule is very flexible. I'm also very comfortable with your family pets and their caretaking needs, fur babies may need a social atmosphere while your away too. I also offer housesitting services. My personal delights are biking, swimming, reading/researching health related topics (always have been an avid reader), and I am a movie freak. Who doesn't love movies. And lastly, the least I can do for you is tidy up your living space so when you arrive home you walk into comfort. That's what's caregiving is, bringing joy to others and hanging with kids is just.....fun

Cora North Las Vegas
$13 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Cora. I'm an elementary school teacher who moved to Alaska from the Philippines many years ago. I've retired from my teaching job, but I want to work part time to occupy myself. I have many experiences working with children of various ages: preschool, elementary, and middle school. I can work with all types of children. Being a sitter and tutor, I can help families (at my own time), so parents can take off from their children and concentrate on their work, or have time for themselves. I understand child development such as playing outdoors or indoors is important to every child. As a parent myself with two grown daughters (though I have no grandchildren yet) being a parent is the most delightful at the same time most challenging part of life. As long as parents love their children there is nothing to worry about. Pets are okay with me since I have a dog and a cat. Speaking of the kitchen, I can make sandwiches, soups, salads, and prepare meals but my favorite is making egg rolls/spring rolls. When it comes to rules, I can be firm but also patient, caring, and understanding. One thing I can say, parents are the biggest influence in the life of their young children. Lastly, I believe that attitude creates success and happiness. I hope you have a wonderful day!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
