Hello, my name is Daisy. I live in Bushwick Brooklyn. I have experience working with children in a daycare. I have an associate degree in bilingual education and am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree. I love working with kids because I find them inspiring and fun; I am patient, caring, and enjoy making arts and crafts, as well as exploring new places outdoors. Languages are a big part of my life—I speak Spanish and English, and I am currently learning Italian. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to work during the day or at night, depending on your needs. I am a responsible driver with a valid license and know the city well. Last year, I went on a road trip from New York to California, which helped me become familiar with many places and develop strong driving skills. I would be very excited to have the opportunity to work with you. I am dedicated and eager to help in any way, also I can provide support in cleaning too. Thank you so much for considering my application.

Daisy is excellent, and our son Nico was very comfortable.

Hello Nanny Family, I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and fun! I have a degree in Mathematics, a minor in Adventure Education, I can swim, drive, and I speak English (only). Happy to do household cleaning and laundry. I like working with kids, I find it very rewarding to help guide them to do something new, such as a hard a math problem, a handstand, or an authentic apology. I'm looking for a stable reoccurring job that feeling right for me, the kids and the family. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a baby sitter. Then I was a camp counselor at a Girl Scout Camp I grew up at and I love so much! Since then I have Nannied for families, and babysat. I have worked with children starting at 6 weeks and up. I have also worked at various gyms with kids. An aerial arts gym leading them through aerial silks and aerial hammock, and an American Ninja Warrior Gym, teaching gymnastics and such. In my spare time, I do various circus arts, partner acrobatics, hiking, swimming in the ocean, rock climbing, aerial silks, handstands, and Slacklining. I also sing and play ukulele, crochet, do crafts, weave baskets, and read. One thing you should know about me is l like to think of myself as a fun, but I also do not condone bratty behavior. I would like to think I am quite the opposite to a pushover in that regard. My skills include my playfulness, tutoring, and timeliness. I am adult and child First Aid, CPR and AED certified. Fully vaccinated. I do not smoke. I am licensed to drive. I'm based out of Park Slope and am open for interviews. Have a lovely day! Liz

Liz was our nanny for daughters aged <18 months and 6 years respectively. She was with us until the younger one started pre-school at 18 months and then continued as a periodic sitter for several months more. Her responsibility was solely childcare (no food prep, driving etc.) and they were either at home or went out to the park or for walks around the neighborhood. She was a wonderful, kind, responsible (punctual to the dot!), and joyful personality whom the girls absolutely adored and viewed more as a playmate and friend. Her acrobatic skills were especially a treat as she got the girls being active and doing tricks, which even to this day remains something they enjoy doing (they are now 5 & 10). She also brought lots of fun costumes to play dress up with and they never failed to have a rousingly entertaining time. I highly recommend Liz and I think she'd be ideal especially for very active and creative kids.

Hi there! My name is Brenna, I am 29 years old and have worked in child care on and off since I was 13. I have recent infant and special needs experience. In the past, I worked for various after school programs, and in school support positions. I have experience with children of all ages and abilities, including kids with sensory issues and behavioral challenges. I specifically thrive working with children on the autism spectrum as well as adhd. On a more personal note: I love arts and crafts and spending time outdoors! Getting to know the kids I work with and helping them explore their interests and hobbies is so important to me. I strongly believe in providing a safe space for children in my care. I do this by bringing a high level of patience and humor to my jobs. I have not encountered a challenging behavior I couldn’t handle or a child I couldn’t make smile. Because of my work in schools and after schools, I have taking many early childhood development and safety trainings, as well as CPR and first aid training which I try and keep up to date. I have a background check and multiple references as I understand the importance of children's safety, I look forward to hearing from you!

Very good with the baby. Patient and calm. Also reads so many books to him

Hello all! I'm looking forward to meeting new families. I have been a childcare provider for twelve years and I love working with kids and babies. I went to FIT for fine arts, and I love to help children learn to paint 🎨 and explore their musical abilities (I teach guitar 🎸). I like to cook🥘, and my favorite meal to make is buttery cheesy pasta with veggies. I like to play music from jam bands like Kruangbin while helping with homework and studying. I know things have been challenging for everyone during this time, and I am happy to be a strong supportive presence for any family who needs me. Creating a positive, loving, tidy, and structured environment is very important. 📚It’s great to have reading time throughout the day and it’s important for kids to learn by example, so I like to read books to the younger kids, and have book time with the older kids where we all read our own personal books. My favorite book is The Girl Who Fell From the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow. For families that like to include technology in their little ones' routine, I like to use fun different language apps to help build a new linguistic foundation. I am an intermediate French speaker so practicing French, in particular, is fun for me. My most recent experience includes working with a 2 year old in Indonesia and two toddlers in Brooklyn. I love playing sports with kids and getting to run outside with them and have as much fresh air as possible. Tag and soccer are favorite games of mine and I like shooting hoops🏀 Everyone's safety is of the most importance, being strict about mask wearing, hand washing, and all around vigilance is essential. Be safe out there, and I wish you all luck on your search! Cassidy

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
