Hello, my name is Edie. I live in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn. I am a single Mom to my daughter who has just passed the Bar ! I have many years of experience with children of all ages. When Super Storm Sandy hit I had to start working from home which I continue to do to this day. As many of my daughter’s friends parents were unable to stay at home, I found myself with a houseful of children including infants. After that, I then permanently became the afterschool care giver for a couple of families. This included picking them up at school during the week, taking them to activities, etc. My house was always the home where all of my daughter's friends were welcomed all of the time and I miss those days as they are all grown. I am not a fan of public transportation but I do drive. I have a 7 seater SUV (Toyota Highlander) and a perfect driving record. Not knowing your location, I don't know if that will work as parking may be an obstacle. I am very hands on. I enjoy engaging with children of all ages from reading a book to baking. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. Weather permitting, I love to take walks and give the younger children playtime in the park. I love animals especially dogs.
