Hi! My name is Abigail. I’m looking for a full-time job Monday to Friday from s7 A.M. to 5 P.M. I have over 25 years of experience caring for children, from newborns to teenagers. I’m also the proud mother of two adult children, so caring for children has been a big part of my life both personally and professionally.
My daughter proudly serves in the U.S. Marine Corps, and my son is currently studying medicine. Raising them has been one of my greatest blessings and has taught me the importance of patience, kindness, responsibility, and unconditional love.
I truly love working with children and enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel safe, happy, and loved every day. I have extensive experience caring for newborns, including feeding, diaper changes, bottle preparation, nap routines, and creating a calm, loving environment. I also enjoy reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, helping with homework, and planning fun, age-appropriate activities.
I am CPR certified, have my own reliable car, and speak both English and Spanish. I enjoy teaching children Spanish through everyday conversations, books, songs, and play. I’ve had the opportunity to do this with several families I’ve worked with, and it has been wonderful to watch the children naturally learn a second language.
Over the past 25 years, I have been fortunate to work with five wonderful families. I cared for their children from a very young age and had the privilege of watching them grow. I stayed with each family for many years, and my jobs naturally came to an end when the children started school and no longer needed full-time care.
I have excellent references from all of the families I have worked with. They know me as a caring, dependable, patient, honest, and trustworthy nanny. I take pride in building long-lasting relationships with the families I work for, and many of them have remained an important part of my life.
I live a healthy lifestyle. I don’t smoke, I don’t use drugs, and I always provide a safe, healthy, and positive environment for the children in my care.
I would love the opportunity to become part of your family and care for your children with the same love, patience, and dedication that I have shared with families for more than 25 years.
