Assana 2 reviews
$27 per hour for 1 child

My name is Assana, and I am a dedicated and reliable nanny with several years of hands on experience caring for children. I have worked with multiple families, providing attentive childcare and supporting children with their daily routines, meals, homework, and engaging activities. I take pride in creating a safe, loving, and structured environment where children feel comfortable and supported. In addition to childcare, I have assisted families with household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry to help keep the home organized and running smoothly. I have also traveled with a family as a travel nanny when needed, which has strengthened my flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to meeting each family’s unique needs. I am patient, trustworthy, and passionate about helping children grow and thrive.

I had the pleasure of having Assana as a nanny for my two children, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly caring, reliable, and dedicated to the families she works with. From the very beginning, she created a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for my children, and they absolutely adored her. Assana went above and beyond her role every day. She not only provided excellent childcare, but also helped with laundry, kept the house clean and organized, and made our home run smoothly. One of the things I appreciated most was her ability to incorporate learning into daily routines she even taught my children French, which was such a valuable and unique experience for them. She is patient, attentive, and genuinely passionate about working with children. Any family would be lucky to have her, and I confidently recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and hardworking nanny.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Corona, NY

Hi, my name is Isabel and I have been a nanny/babysitter on/off for about ten years. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish. I am great with infants and toddlers. Feeding, putting to sleep, daily routines.as well as school aged kids. Love nature, incorporating play and the arts. Very communicative, respectful and caring. I am able to do some light cleaning having to do with the kids, and am good with animals as well.

Our little guy (almost 3) is still talking about what a great time he has yesterday with Isabel who came as a backup sitter. So appreciative of her and that they had such a great day ☺️

Zoe $25 per hour for 1 child

I've been babysitting for over 10 years, starting at age eleven when I began helping care for my newborn sister. As I got older, I started watching her friends too, building relationships with several families and learning a lot about kids along the way. Over the years, I've also spent three summers working as a full-time nanny, including over 3 years of hands-on experience specifically caring for infants and toddlers. I graduated from Tufts last spring with an interest in pediatric health, and I'm currently taking time to do what I love: caring for children, while I explore that path further. I love using play and creativity to nurture a child's imagination, but I also know that no two kids are the same. Some children thrive with structure and consistent routines, while others do best with more flexibility and spontaneity. I take the time to understand each child individually and adapt my approach to what works best for them and what parents are looking for. Beyond childcare, I'm also an experienced pet sitter and comfortable cooking for kids and families alike, from simple toddler meals to full family dinners. I'm happy to help with light housework too, including organizing, laundry, dishes, and general tidying, so the household runs smoothly alongside childcare. I'm reliable, attentive, and communicative, and I care about building genuine trust with the families I work with. I'd love the opportunity to bring that same care and dependability to your family.

Hi! I’m Josee—a caring, dependable sitter with 10+ years of experience working with children from newborns to school-age, including those with special needs. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks like meal prep, tidying, and errands to support your family’s routine. Looking forward to connecting with your family!

Audrey $27 per hour for 1 child

Hi My name Is Audrey, I am a Theatre major at BMCC. I am offering childcare and senior care services. I used to be a camp counselor at a summer camp. For 9 weeks in the summer I had 9 different cabins each week of at least 12 kids. I took care of kids from ages 8 to 16. I led them in various outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, swimming, frisbee, and the list goes on! My responsibilities included teaching my campers outdoor skills, keeping them on track with the schedule, and inspiring each camper to be the best selves they can be. I worked at this camp for two summers from 2[removed]. Then I lived at home for a year before moving to New York and I babysat on the weekends in Tulsa Oklahoma for a family with two kids 8 and 10. My responsibilities included driving the kids to the park, driving them to soccer practice, cooking lunch and dinner, and general housekeeping. During this same year, I worked as a housekeeper then as a concierge at a retirement home that had a skilled nursing and an assisted living center. I worked all of these jobs and saved up my money to move to New York in August of 2024. Since moving to New York I've worked various service industry jobs and took a break from the service industry to start school. Now that I'm in school I've decided to hop back into childcare and or senior care. I also grew up with 3 dogs and I currently live with and take care of my roommate's cat so I am happy to work for families with pets!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
