Hey there! My name is Kimora, I am an aspiring teacher in the making with both classroom and personal experience fostering children's personal growth and curiosity. I have been working in education and Childcare for roughly 5yrs mainly between the Pre-Kindergarten and 3rd Grade range. Meaning I am equipped with age appropriate games and crafts. I've worked as a Middle School tutor since I was in high school up until college. I worked briefly at an elementary school for 3 months. I'm the oldest sister of my family, so in general, I'm alright with kids. I served as a Cat volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in New York for a summer. Overall, I prefer to work with cats, but I'm ok with other animals (with care instructions, I can pick things up quickly).

I’ve worked with kids since middle school, starting by babysitting my little sister and tutoring peers, which sparked my love for helping children learn and grow. By 8th grade, I was an assistant teacher at Hebrew school and babysat my Rabbi’s daughter. In high school, I became a YMCA lifeguard (CPR certified) and taught swim lessons at summer camp. Throughout college, I spent four years as a certified tutor at the Boys & Girls Club, helping kids from 1st through 12th grade with reading, writing, math, and study skills. I graduated from Tufts University, where I studied Psychology and Economics, and have an intermediate level of Spanish. I love working with kids—watching their imagination develop, fostering their curiosity, and helping them learn. I also grew up with seven dogs, so I’m very comfortable with pets and happy to help with them too.
