Daniela $32 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in East Elmhurst, NY

Hi! My name is Dani and I am a nanny and visual artist in Brooklyn, NY with 8 years of experience working with families. I originally grew up in northeastern Massachusetts raised by my Ecuadorian father and Portuguese mother. Because of this, I am fluent in Spanish as a second language and can get by fairly well with Portuguese, though i'm practicing to improve that skill. My experience in childcare ranges from the newborn stage up to twelve years old with a majority of my time being with infants and toddlers. I really enjoy the outdoors, recreational activities and working on art projects like painting, mixed media collage and crochet all in which I blend into my work as a nanny. My interest in plant and earth science has grown to be a useful part of conversation with young children, giving them an opportunity to be more curious and conscious to the world we are a part of which is a major part of my core values that I like to share along with care, compassion, safety and learning. While caring for children, I have been happy to lead, manage and assist parents with various tasks such as meal preparation, home organizing, activity planning, laundry and light cleaning.

Marinez 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Marinez, I'm 28 years old, and I'm currently looking for a nanny position. I have over 5 years of experience working with children and infants. For the past 2 years, I worked full-time with one family caring for four children. When I started, the girls were 2 and 4 years old, and the boys were 8 and 9. It was an incredible experience filled with learning, affection, and growth, and now I feel ready to take the next step in my career. I have experience with infant care, including feeding, bottle preparation, sleep routines, and supporting developmental milestones. I am also comfortable with preschool drop-offs and pick-ups, planning activities, and navigating the city safely with children. I truly enjoy engaging kids in outdoor play, creative activities, and maintaining a consistent, healthy routine. I am CPR and First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, a strong driver, and a non-smoker. I’m also very comfortable around dogs. I would describe myself as reliable, patient, proactive, and genuinely passionate about working with children. Warmly, Marinez

She is a wonderful nanny—reliable, caring, patient, and great with children. She is very responsible and professional, and I would definitely recommend her to any family looking for someone trustworthy to care for their kids.

Taylor 1 review
$15 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm currently a college student majoring in psychology on the pre-med track. I've always had a deep love for working with children and animals, and my ultimate goal is to work in the medical field helping children. Currently, I have experience caring for an adorable 9-month-old and I'm excited to grow my range of experience with kids of different ages. For the past couple of years, I have been working in an Assisted Living facility, supporting patients with dementia. This experience has truly grown my sense of empathy and patience. I've been around kids my whole life-- growing up, I helped care for my younger siblings, so undertaking a caregiver role is very natural to me. I like to think of myself as someone who is very patient, caring, and trustworthy, and I genuinely enjoy being a part of a child's day-to-day life and development.

Taylor was an exceptional babysitter to my daughter. She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had a productive day. She read to her, sang songs, played developmental games and went on walks with her. She made healthy puree recipes for her and always made sure my daughter’s eczema medications were applied on time. She even setup a daily log book for my daughter where she tracked her activities from diaper changes, feedings and playtime. I never had to worry while I was at work because I knew she was very well taken care of. I loved that I didn’t have to tell her exactly what to do, she would come in and manage accordingly. She was extremely professional and always on time. I’m looking forward to working with her again!

Holly $25 per hour for 1 child

SUMMER BREAK AVAILABILITY! Hi parents! I know how important it is to find a caregiver you can trust. I’ve been working as a nanny in NYC for the 2 year,s and babysitting since I was 12, caring for kids of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I am currently working with a family of 4 boys, ages 6 years to 6 months. I am looking for other temporary jobs while they are out of town for the next couple of weeks. My responsibilities include taking and picking up kids from school, taking them to their various activities and extra curricular activities, cooking and meal time, and getting ready for bed, along with general care taking, playing, and supervision. I enjoy meeting kids where they are at, engaging in their interests and joys, and creating a space where they can feel safe and cared for. I am currently a graduate student studying social work at Fordham University where I’m learning how to support children in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways. As apart of my program, I work 3x a week in an elementary school doing one-on-one counseling with children ages 6-10 with behavioral and developmental issues. I’m upbeat, patient, and love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive. I’d love the opportunity to support your family! I’m also very comfortable with household pets and happy to help feed and care for them while babysitting. Whether it’s giving them extra attention, taking them outside, or making sure they’re well-fed, I’ll ensure your pets feel just as comfortable and cared for as the rest of the family!

Mariana $23 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm Mariana! I've been working as a nanny since I was 18 (now I’m 25), and caring for children is definitely my favorite job. I've worked with newborns, babies, toddlers, and older kids, including twins and families with multiple children. I also had the opportunity to care for three children on my own while their parents were traveling in Europe, which gave me even more confidence managing busy routines, keeping everyone on schedule, and making sure the kids felt safe, happy, and loved while their parents were away. I'm comfortable with everything that comes with caring for kids—feeding, diaper changes, naps, meal prep, bath time, bedtime routines, school pick-ups, and keeping little ones happy and on schedule. One of my favorite things about working with children is watching them grow up. Seeing a baby take their first steps, say their first words in Spanish, or learn something new never gets old to me. Those little moments are what make me love this job. I'm bilingual (English & Spanish), patient, and easy to work with. I also don't mind helping with children's laundry, tidying up after the kids, or preparing meals and snacks. My goal is always to make parents feel comfortable knowing their children are safe, happy, and well cared for. I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
