Hi Urbansitter Parents; My name is Lareesha, and I am an experienced, dependable, and nurturing childcare professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages. Since 2001, I have worked extensively with infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents, developing a deep understanding of each developmental stage and the unique needs that come with them. I bring a compassionate and patient approach to my work, with particular sensitivity and experience supporting children with developmental delays and special needs. My background includes employment in daycare settings, childcare agencies, special needs programs, and as a school bus monitor, giving me a well-rounded and professional foundation in child supervision, safety, and engagement. I believe in creating a warm, structured, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. I enjoy planning enriching activities such as educational outings, playdates, reading, creative play, drawing, and imaginative learning, all tailored to each child’s interests and abilities. I am college educated, CPR/AED certified, and known for my reliability, strong communication skills, and genuine love for children. Childcare is not just my profession—it is my passion. I bring a big heart, unwavering dedication, and a calm, trustworthy presence into every family I work with. I would be honored to support your family and provide exceptional care for your children. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you. Warm Regards; Lareesha

$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in East Elmhurst, NY

Hi My name is Pasika. You can call me Bee. I have been taking care of children for 15 years, college educated with B. S. Degree in Major Nutrition. I have experience caring all ages of children, changing diapers, bottle feeding, making meals and giving baths. I'm motivated and proactive in childcare, household arrangement; arrange activities, play dates, healthy food preparation, etc. I maintain current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification from American Red Cross. I am non-smoker/drinker. I am reliable, responsible, creative, educated, fun, hard working, care and have infant experience. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon. PS. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted!

“We love Bee! We found Bee through UrbanSitter, we originally hired her to watch/care for our son several times for date nights. Soon afterwards, we hired her as our part-time nanny! Although Bee is a bit quiet initially, she lights up with children. Our son (now 10-months old) took to her immediately. Bee is always very patient and fun with him, and I often find them laughing, “chatting,” and playing together. Bee is very sweet with our older dog as well, she is always on time, and great with sticking to the baby’s daily schedule (feedings, nap time, going for walks, etc.). We provided detailed instructions for caring for our son (I.e. he has eczema and needs cream applied regularly and diapers changed very frequently) and she has been meticulous in following any instructions. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially to parents with infants, babies, and small children.”

Samantha 2 reviews
$22 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Sam! I’m 25 years old and have over six years experience in babysitting. I am the oldest of 3 girls and always looked after them growing up. I’ve also worked as an assistant summer camp counselor with second graders. I enjoy working with children and providing a safe and fun environment for them. I love crafts, playing games and inventing stories to keep children engaged without relying on screens.

“I am writing this to recommend Samantha Sanchez as a babysitter. She has been an incredible help to my family and a truly wonderful caregiver to my son who is 2 years old. From the beginning, Samantha demonstrated a natural connection with kids. She is responsible, punctual, and always brings a positive, cheerful energy into our home. My son looked forward to spending time with her and felt safe and happy in her care. She is dependable and proactive, whether it’s organizing fun and educational activities, helping with meals, or keeping things tidy. I’ve never had any concerns about her work ethic or reliability. I would highly recommend Samantha for any babysitting or childcare position. I’m confident that she will provide the same level of excellent care for your family as she did for mine. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at [email protected] or 347-301-9760”

Alejandra 2 reviews
$23 per hour for 1 child

Hello, My name is Alejandra. I am a costume designer and a naturalized American citizen, originally from Colombia. I moved to New York eight years ago and have been involved in the art world since I was a teenager. I love good music, visiting museums, hiking, going for walks, and appreciating the simple joys of life. Babysitting was my first job when I moved to the U.S., and to this day, it remains my favorite job. I truly enjoy the company of kids—their humor, creativity, and sense of freedom. I have about two years of professional experience, not including a lifetime of caring for my little cousins. I would love to have a child of my own one day, and I will care for your kids the way I would want my future babysitter to care for mine. Sincerely, Alejandra

“I have known Alejandra for almost 17 years and she has covered several times for her mom babysitting my children who adored her and she has also worked for my business for several years. I highly recommend her as a babysitter!”

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
