Hi! I’ve got over 14 years of experience as a nanny/babysitter. I love to be active, get outside and creative with kids! I’m a big fan of walks and park play dates! I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. The most recent family I worked with regularly has three children; a five-year-old, a 22-month-old and a three-year-old. I was with them from the birth of the youngest and was also their nanny when they welcomed their third. I lived and traveled with them. I have stayed in touch with many other families I have babysat for over the years and still work with them (date nights, events, etc). Please feel free to contact me whenever you feel if you are interested. I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Rhylie

Thakur was great! responsible and personable - toddler took to her right away and they had a great time at the park! will hire again!

Hi! I'm Shterna, and I'm 27 years old. I grew up in central Brooklyn in a big family of 11, with 28 nieces and nephews (ages 0-16) and over 100 first cousins. Being surrounded by kids my whole life, I naturally picked up childcare early on. *I will be graduating with a Bachelor's in Psychology in July of 2027 (My classes are on Sunday, and at 7:30 PM twice a week so my school schedule does not impede my daytime/full-time availability)* I started working with kids professionally in middle school as a babysitter and summer camp counselor. After finishing school in 2018, I primarily worked as a nanny (with a brief stint in corporate) and continue to nanny today. I have lots of experience with newborns, multiples, classrooms (of infants, toddlers, and junior high-school) long shifts, overnights and weekends, children who are unwell, working in two-parent households, and transporting kids around the city. I also have experience caring for dogs and cats, hold a driver’s license, and am vaccinated. Outside of work, I’m an avid reader and Boggle player. I love putting on makeup, jump on any opportunity to hear live-music, and enjoy schmoozing with friends. As a religious Jew, my weekend availability can be limited, but I’m happy to work around it when possible. I’m semi-fluent in Hebrew (and Yiddish) and enjoy sharing my culture with anyone interested! I look forward to hearing from you and am happy to answer any questions or provide additional information and references.

Shterna is a confident, dependable caregiver. She has taken the time to understand our infant daughter's personality, moods, developmental stage, and individual needs, adapting her care accordingly. She actively supports our daughter's development through thoughtful interaction and age-appropriate activities. Since she began caring for our daughter, we have noticed her becoming more settled, engaged, and confident. Most importantly, our daughter has developed a strong bond with Shterna and is always happy to see her. We feel confident leaving our daughter in Shterna's care and highly recommend her to any family looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive babysitter.

Hi families! Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my profile☺️ My name is Kailyn, or just Kay! I am currently seeking part time, occasional, along with date night positions. New to UrbanSitter, however on multiple other platforms! I recently was a sitter to 2 girls on the UES (9&12)! I have experience from ages 3m -13y, Including children with ASD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down syndrome( UP syndrome✨)I have been employed at a sensory center, and I've also worked with long term families and enjoy building lasting relationships✨Caregiving has always been a part of my day to day, being the “babysitter” for family friends. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession rather than a “hobby” at the age of 15! I am very personable, compassionate and caring and always take communicating with both parents and child(ren) as a priority. Some of the things I enjoy to do with my minis; I do like to go on a walk(weather permitting), play at the park, do arts/crafts, the library(Amazing classes+📚). Of course, I am open to follow which ever activities you would like me do with your child(ren). In addition to childcare, I am more than happy to lend a hand with household assistance, whether it is running errands, cooking(*When cooking in your home I am open and more than happy to accommodate dietary needs*) and/or tidying up around and laundry. I also love pets so a hand with pet care is not a problem; dog/cat sit, walk/feed :) ! I'm always looking forward to connecting with new families. It's important that we both feel we're the right match for one another! If you have any questions, please let me know, I look forward to hearing from you! Interests outside of caregiving⚖️- Content creation, trying new food places, shopping, wellness, brooklyn bridge pier walks, ALL the museums🖼️🎨🤖 - Spanish language speaker🇩🇴 -Basic Sign language 🤟🏽 References available upon request. Thank you!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
