Kia 1 review
$27 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Kia! I’m a 27-year-old sitter with over a decade of experience caring for kids, pets, and homes and truly love what I do. Whether I’m building forts with little ones, cuddling with your pets, or making sure your home stays just the way you left it- I bring care, calm, and a personal touch to every job. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, a former lifeguard, and am available to teach swim lessons so you can count on me to keep things safe while still having fun. I’ve also worked in corporate finance, which taught me how to be dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of people’s time and space. I’ve been a pet owner myself, and I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I’m the kind of sitter who sends updates, leaves things better than I found them, and treats every child or pet like they’re part of my own circle. When I’m not working, I’m usually outside staying active, reading a good book, baking a sweet treat, or hanging out with friends. If you're looking for someone warm, trustworthy, and easy to communicate with- I’d love to connect!

Kia is thoughtful, responsible and incredibly patient. As a former teacher, I am so impressed to see how attentive and genuinely caring she is with children of all ages. I’ve seen firsthand how naturally she connects with kids and you can tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with them as well. Kia is always on time and makes sure to put the children’s and parents needs first.

Chloe 1 review
$35 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Chloe, and I would love to help you and your family. I have a passion for working with children and helping parents be the most present and happy as they can be in the times that matter most. A child's imagination is the most precious, sacred thing in my eyes, and I take fostering that imagination as my own personal mission. I've been working with kids ever since I could remember, as the daughter of a dance teacher and therefore unofficial assistant instructor. In high school, I worked as a party princess, solidifying my passion for working with children with the added benefit of knowing every word to every princess song ever. With a solid arsenal of artistic skills in nearly all mediums, I love to plan arts activities with kids abilities and interests in mind that leave them feeling empowered and competent. I also love taking children out on excursions led by what sparks their curiosity. My M.O. is to instill a love for learning, inner confidence, and resilient spirit that stays with children for life. For me, that starts with making sure they feel seen, supported, and respected. Outside of childcare, I am also a multidisciplinary artist, working with photography, performance, comedy, writing, music, sculpture, and anything I can get my hands on, really. I just graduated from DePaul in Chicago, earning a 3.96 GPA while PT nannying and managing freelance photography gigs. I'm currently available for families within the city as well as in Bergen County, Fairfield County, Rockland County Westchester County, and Hudson County.

Chloe was our nanny for two years, beginning when our children were 1 and 3, and she was truly exceptional. At the time, we lived in downtown Chicago, I traveled frequently for work, and my wife worked 12-hour nursing shifts while also attending school. We needed someone we could completely rely on—someone trustworthy, responsible, professional, and, just as importantly, someone our kids would adore and have fun with. Chloe checked every one of those boxes. She was incredibly reliable and proactive. She even helped introduce us to trusted babysitters and backup caregivers so we would always have support if an emergency came up. That level of thoughtfulness and dependability meant a great deal to our family. Most importantly, Chloe was amazing with our kids. She was extremely engaged with them—dressing up, planning fun activities, playing, laughing, and always finding ways to keep them entertained and smiling. She transported them to school, prepared meals, handled bath time, helped keep our home in order, and even helped care for both of our pets throughout the day. Chloe was also an excellent communicator, which was especially important given our demanding and sometimes unpredictable schedules. With me frequently out of town and my wife balancing 12-hour nursing shifts and school, I genuinely don't know how we would have done it without her. Our experience with Chloe was exceptional, and we valued the time she spent with our family tremendously. Our children still ask about her today, which probably says more than anything else could. I would recommend Chloe without hesitation to anyone looking for a nanny, babysitter, or caregiver. Any family would be fortunate to have her. I am also more than happy to speak directly with anyone considering Chloe and provide my full endorsement.

Navila 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Navila, and I look forward to working with you! I’m a freshman in college studying psychology with hopes of becoming a pediatric occupational therapist. I really love working with kids and have gained a lot of experience over the years. I’ve worked as a camp counselor for two summers, the first summer working with a group of ages 5-6 and the second with a group of 8-9 year olds. I’ve also au paired in Berlin from September 2025 to January 2026 for a family with two boys ages 4 and 7, where I helped with daily routines and activities. I’m responsible, patient, and easy to get along with.

Navila was lovely. Super responsive and kind. She arrived on time and kept my two girls engaged. Highly reccommend her!

Sage 2 reviews
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Jackson Heights, NY

Hi families! I’m a warm, creative, and attentive caregiver who knows how to keep things fun while also creating a calm, safe, and cozy environment. I have hands-on experience caring for children from newborns through preteens (including my nephew since birth), as well as supporting seniors — I was raised by my great-grandmother and helped care for her into her late 90s, which taught me patience, gentleness, and deep attentiveness. I love bringing imagination into the day through art, reading, music, gentle play, and creative activities. I’m also very clean, organized, and respectful of the home — I enjoy light tidying, keeping spaces comfortable, and preparing simple meals when needed. I also work professionally with pets through dog walking, cat sitting, and house sitting, so your whole household is in good hands. I’m reliable, easy to trust, and I’d love to be a positive, grounding presence for your family — two-legged or four-legged. 🎨🐾

Sage recently started working with our family. She is so amazing and wonderful, and our family is so lucky to have found her!!!!

Audrey 1 review
$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Jackson Heights, NY

Hi! My name is Audrey, and I’m an experienced nanny and certified public school teacher with over 10 years of experience working with children in private homes and schools. I worked as a nanny while earning a B.A. in French Language and Literature in Philadelphia and again during an M.Ed program in Austin. For the last three years, I’ve worked as a French teacher both for elementary and high school students. I’m now nannying again, as well as tutoring in French. I am seeking a stable (< 30 hrs/week) nannying position, as well as occasional work, where I can become a reliable, supportive presence in a family’s life. My favorite part of this job is bonding with kids and their families. I am still in touch with many of the families I’ve worked with and really value those connections! I speak French and have lived and studied in France twice, so I would love to work with a francophone family.

Audrey looked after our 7mo old for a whole day, and was fantastic. They went out to story time at the library, walked in the park, and generally kiddo was super happy on our return. Very professional, experienced working with kids, and easy to deal with. Would absolutely book again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
