Hi my name is Veronica, I am a certified nanny/baby nurse and also CPR certified.I am looking for part time or full time employment. I have been working with children for 18years and given I have two of my own one over the age of 20. I love kids regardless of age and tend to have their best interest at heart. I have been told by multiple kids that I am more like a mommy when their mother is not around and that warm my heart and proves to me that I am doing what’s right.I am most definitely an outdoorsy person who believe in kids exploring and having fun, furthermore I also enjoy getting on the floor with them engaging in any kind of indoor games being arts and craft, block stacking, reading, ect. I speak basic french and is willing to teach you little ones a second language if you so desire. In my spare time I love decorating, cooking, looking to learn new things that will enhance my life and going out with friends. Caring for children truly gives me a sense of joy and happiness.

Veronica was a godsend for us! She provided exceptional overnight care for our newborn, allowing us to recover and sleep while knowing our baby was safe and happy. She is professional, kind, and clearly loves what she does. Five stars isn't enough!

Hi! My name is Tamyia. I’m currently in working toward my degree in Human Services. I’ve been babysitting since 2018, so I have over six years of experience caring for kids of all ages. One of my favorite parts about babysitting is the relationships I get to build with both the children and their families. I really enjoy being someone families can rely on and helping out wherever I’m needed. I would describe myself as patient, creative, and easy to get along with. I love keeping kids engaged with outdoor activities, board games, and fun educational games. I always try to create a safe and positive environment where kids feel comfortable and supported.

I have just accepted a full time position with a family (July 2026) and am only available for occasional date nights. My most recent longer term jobs have been taking care of toddlers, but I am also very experienced working with preschool and elementary school aged kids. I am a singer and teaching artist who has tons of experience working with children, mostly kids who are age 3 and up. I taught elementary school music for several years and now teach classes as well as private music lessons as part of my freelance lifestyle. When I am with kids, I love going to the park, singing, baking/cooking, reading stories, and getting creative! ***I have current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid NY license with a clean driving record. My rates for long term positions may be different than posted above depending upon the number of hours, children, and duties involved.

Shawn was attentive, caring, and great with our twin girls. I could not recommend her more highly!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
