Hello! My name is Tesla. I am 29 years old and have worked in childcare on and off for the last 9 years. During those years I have amassed a diverse array of childcare experience in Utah, California, Hawaii, and New York. I have assisted families with relaxed lifestyles who just need an extra hand, as well as families who require lots of extra assistance and operate with fast-paced schedules in large cities. The bonds I have forged working in childcare have changed my life. I would love to help you and your family!

Hello all! I'm looking forward to meeting new families. I have been a childcare provider for twelve years and I love working with kids and babies. I went to FIT for fine arts, and I love to help children learn to paint 🎨 and explore their musical abilities (I teach guitar 🎸). I like to cook🥘, and my favorite meal to make is buttery cheesy pasta with veggies. I like to play music from jam bands like Kruangbin while helping with homework and studying. I know things have been challenging for everyone during this time, and I am happy to be a strong supportive presence for any family who needs me. Creating a positive, loving, tidy, and structured environment is very important. 📚It’s great to have reading time throughout the day and it’s important for kids to learn by example, so I like to read books to the younger kids, and have book time with the older kids where we all read our own personal books. My favorite book is The Girl Who Fell From the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow. For families that like to include technology in their little ones' routine, I like to use fun different language apps to help build a new linguistic foundation. I am an intermediate French speaker so practicing French, in particular, is fun for me. My most recent experience includes working with a 2 year old in Indonesia and two toddlers in Brooklyn. I love playing sports with kids and getting to run outside with them and have as much fresh air as possible. Tag and soccer are favorite games of mine and I like shooting hoops🏀 Everyone's safety is of the most importance, being strict about mask wearing, hand washing, and all around vigilance is essential. Be safe out there, and I wish you all luck on your search! Cassidy

Taylor 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m a Registered Nurse with a background in nannying, babysitting, and infant/toddler care in both home and hospital settings. Caregiving has always been part of my life—before nursing school, I worked with babies and toddlers, and over the years I’ve also supported seniors, families in the community, and plenty of pets. I’m currently in BirthSmarter training and starting the path toward becoming a nurse-midwife, so working closely with families feels like a natural fit. I’m creative, patient, and very communicative, and I love bringing a calm, nurturing presence to the home. I’m looking for a steady full-time role with a Brooklyn family where I can offer both reliability and genuine warmth.

Taylor has been an incredible help to our family. She cared for our toddler and our senior dog with a level of calm competence that immediately put us at ease. Her nursing background shows in the way she notices small details and communicates clearly, but she also has this creative, gentle energy that our daughter responded to right away. She was punctual, respectful of our home, and genuinely present—no phone scrolling, no rushing through the evening routine. I appreciated how confident and patient she was during bedtime, and how thoughtfully she handled our dog’s medication schedule. We’d gladly work with her again. Anyone who hires her will feel lucky to have her on their team.

Hello, My name is Martina, I'm 27 years old and from SPAIN (yeah, I can teach spanish to your kids!) I have +7 years of experience with kids: I used to work as a music teacher with kids and teens in Spain. And the last few years I’ve been working as an aupair, nanny, baby-nurse and spanish-tutor. I love being outside around nature and I love baking. I’d love to share my mediterranean culture with your kids! I can be very flexible with schedules and also working on extra nanny work (groceries, tidying up, laundry, picking up/dropping packages) I really like to work in a kind environment. It’s important for me to feel that we are a team! Contact me if you're interested about it. I’d love to meet your family(:

I am delighted to recommend Martina who helps my family on weekends. She has an incredible knack for connecting with children. Her warm and engaging nature makes her a natural with kids. She seamlessly incorporates Spanish into their daily activities, fostering a bilingual environment that has greatly benefited my toddler. Beyond her childcare skills, Maria is also an excellent cook. She prepares delicious, healthy meals and is is always happy to help with clean-up and even manages to keep up with the laundry, making our lives much easier. Intelligent and thoughtful, Martina adapts quickly to our family's needs. She is consistently reliable, arriving on time and ready to engage. Her commitment and care go above and beyond, making her an invaluable part of our household. I wholeheartedly recommend Matina to any family seeking a dedicated, talented, and dependable babysitter.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
