I’m 21 years old, I’m currently studying in the medical field on The Weeknd’s, I obtained my high school diploma and I been to college for 1 year studying business management. I’m from queens Jamaica, I’m 5’1 with short curly hair. I grew up with a lot of my cousins and taking care of them at a young age. I know how to make ends meet and I’m very responsible, caring and friendly. Most of my family would say I’m a great caregiver because I know how to take care of myself and the people around me. I know how to cook and also I’m opened to learn more new things about cooking. I’m currently not driving so taking public transportation won’t be a problem. I’m available throughout the week and not on the weekends unless I’m needed. I’m hoping that I can be considered to be welcomed into a lovely family and to take care of their kid and not disappoint them.

Hi! My name is Marleshka, but you can call me Marly. I am a current senior at the University of Vermont, and I am studying Psychological Science and minoring in Japanese. I graduate in May 2026. I am fluent and native in Spanish. Once I graduate, I hope to pursue a master's in social work to become an LCSW and work with those in underserved communities and with mental illness, particularly children. I have mentored for the DREAM program since October 2022, organizing activities and looking after children aged 3-18 with peers. I volunteer at least 3 hrs/week. I have also volunteered in a Head Start preschool and assisted teachers with children aged 5 and younger. This was from September 2023 to December 2023. I currently hold an American Heart Association BLS Certification valid until April 2027. This includes adult and child/infant CPR< first aid, and Naloxone training. I have received study skills training at my university to tutor others, and I had regular tutees this past semester. I love to teach children and do so in a way that works best for them. In my free time, I love to crochet, volunteer, listen to music, and bake sweets! I can't wait to work with you!
