I currently work as a paraprofessional in the NYC Department of Education, where I support children with autism. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, communication, consistency, and understanding that every child is unique and may learn and express themselves differently. I’m a very nurturing, hands-on, and attentive caregiver. When I’m caring for your child, they will have my full attention, I love being present, listening to them, encouraging them, and making sure they feel comfortable, valued, and heard. One of my favorite things about working with children is using my imagination! I’m naturally creative and love coming up with fun activities that keep kids engaged, whether that’s arts and crafts, dancing, reading, imaginative play, or creating our own little adventures. I love to read myself and would be excited to help children discover books and develop a love for reading too. I’m also a very resourceful person and love cooking. I can make a great meal even when I’m working with very little, and I enjoy getting children involved in age-appropriate activities when possible. I’m warm, humble, encouraging, and naturally nurturing I may even spoil your little ones with lots of love! At the same time, I understand that being a caregiver means setting appropriate boundaries and knowing when to be the responsible adult rather than simply being their friend. Most importantly, I want children in my care to feel safe, respected, encouraged, and genuinely happy. My goal is for families to feel confident knowing their children are in caring, attentive, and capable hands.

I have over 10 years of experience in child care as a pediatrics nurse and nanny. before I switched over to being an Executive assistant, I worked as a Medial Assistant in a Pediatrics office for 10 years. I babysat/ overnight many of my patients kids ranging from newborns to middle school ages. Im fun, super engaging with kids. I love to keep them busy with creative art activities, I can make meals, help with light cleaning and help the kids the homework.

Hello! Sarai at your service! I’m a CCNY Fall 2020 Alumni with a BA Business Administration. While I chose this degree, I’ve developed a true passion for education. For the past two years, I’ve been employed full time at a school (staff role) and use up much of my free time to book gigs during weekends or weekdays (afternoon/evening times). I am an acting student that graduated from LaGuardia HS of Music and Art, attended Boston University and graduated this past May with a degree in theater. I am enthusiastic, engaged and nurturing. Growing up, I was the youngest of three as well as the youngest in my extended family and had many babysitters that shaped me into the woman I am. I worked with kids at my camp, French Woods Festival, for 3 years. I assistant directing kids ages 7-11 as well as counselor in training and trained to watch them over the night shift. A few summers ago I interned at an organization titled Only Make Believe which provides theatre for kids in hospitals that need medical assistance. Additionally I worked at Broadway Workshop which provides summer theater training to kids in school K-12. All of this work is on top of the babysitting I have done over the last 4 years of college with ages 0-13. I love working with kids and love getting to see the world through their eyes and feel it is the catalyst for my work as an actor and helps me reconnect with my imagination and inner child. I am a big dog lover and have had a dog in the house ever since I was born.
