Hello Parents, My name is Patricia, im a Studio Art college graduate and originally from Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. My childcare experience began at the age of 11. Living with both my aunts and uncles under one roof, babysitting my younger cousins wasn't a job it was apart of my life. Before graduating from college, I studied abroad in South Korea. where I taught English as a second language in winter/summer camps for younger learners (age range: 5-10). For the past four and half years, I have had the opportunity to care for children varying in age from 2 1/2 months to 11 years old from UrbanSitter since 2012 and working as an on-call nanny for Bright Horizons agency for 4 years. Currently work as Special Education D75 Paraprofessional for the DOE. Working with Children with ADHD and Autism. What I like most about babysitting is developing activities that focus of creative exploration like coloring, drawing, painting, legos, imaginary story telling, stage play, and going on library/park/ museum outings. I also love reading and sing songs. In my free time, I love practicing Yoga, dance, and reading.

Patricia was excellent! She asked good questions ahead of time to make sure she knew what was expected of her during her care of my cats. She followed up regularly with updates and pictures.

Hi Beautiful People, My name is Youmie. I am an entrepreneur and confidence builder living in NYC. I have been a nanny/sitter for over 15 years. I absolutely love kids! I love calm and cool kids, but I especially love kids who are sassy, expressive, and full of personality. I love making kids feel seen, heard, and understood, so I am very patient. When caring for a child, I love to give them attention and keep them stimulated, but I am also very disciplined, so I strive to provide a balance. I also have extensive experience as a night nanny for newborns. My background is in education and dance. I went to school to be a teacher. I speak 4 languages fluently. I love reading trilogies, I love being outdoors and discovering new things to do, and I love food. I also love educating and introducing children to new languages, cultures, art, and fun! I think it's very important to help children build confidence in who they are, starting very young. It helps a lot with self-esteem, bullying, and thinking for themselves. That's a personal passion of mine that I often teach each child in my care. I adore an inquisitive child. Affirmations are a daily thing with me if your child is with me. I have extensive experience with one child as well as multiples, especially twins. So I'm not afraid of working with multiple children. I also love working with new parents dealing with postpartum. I offer overnights, as well as getaways. In addition to being a nanny, I have experience in caretaking for adults and seniors. I love keeping seniors company. My recent caretaking job was close to home. My uncle had a stroke, and I helped aid him back to health. I love walking, conversing, exploring the city, and learning from seniors. I would be happy to help and support your family. I believe in the idea that it takes a village, and I'd love to help you out if you'll have me. I welcome any questions. If you're interested, please send me a note. Happy hunting! I hope you find someone amazing for your family.

Wonderful! My children loved her. She is very fun and personable but professional and very reliable.

I’m a dedicated and experienced nanny with over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children. My background includes both private childcare and working as a paraprofessional educator, which gives me a strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and creating supportive, structured environments where children can thrive. I specialize in caring for infants and toddlers, including newborns, and I’m confident managing routines such as feeding, sleep training, and developmental play. I have experience caring for multiple children at once, including twins, and I’m comfortable balancing different needs while maintaining a calm, organized environment. I also have experience supporting children with varying developmental needs, including those with autism, and I take a patient, individualized approach to every child I work with. I enjoy creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play, including sensory play, early literacy, art projects, and outdoor exploration. With my background in studio art, I love incorporating creativity into daily routines to keep children stimulated and excited to learn. Safety is always my top priority. I am First Aid certified, attentive to dietary restrictions and allergies, and experienced in maintaining clean, organized spaces. I’m also reliable with transportation, punctual, and respectful of each family’s routines, parenting style, and household expectations.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
