Iwas also on the pre-law track, as I plan on becoming a lawyer in the future. Four years ago, a majority of my experience is in a non professional sense. As the eldest, I have taken care of my siblings from infancy to the age of 15 years old. I am knowledgable with feeding children, changing diapers, bed time routine, and can help with homework. I would keep them engaged through energizing as well as relaxing activities. I also have experience with overnight routines. However, now I have been able to evolve my experience and taking care of children from ages of newborn - nine years of age. Shuttling them around the city from school to activities, assisted in bath time routines, and overnight feedings. I also have experience with working with children who have special needs, specifically autism. Before college, I worked for about a year with special needs children. I acted as a relief to families, while they ran errands. I assisted with behavioral development, homework, and every day tasks. I love engaging and caring for younger minds. They are so full of questions and I believe it is important to have someone willing to answer these questions rather than stamping out their curiosity. Furthermore, I know what it like to have the fear of caring for yourself or seeing parents stress about leaving their children with a stranger and I want to be that person who can alleviate that stress.
