Hi! I'm Flor I’m originally from Argentina 🇦🇷 and I have around 10 years of childcare experience through nannying, tutoring, teaching, and working as an au pair.
For the past 2 years, I’ve worked long-term with a wonderful NYC family, supporting their daughter from ages 10–12 as her needs evolved over time. My responsibilities included school pick-ups/drop-offs, taking her to activities, meal prep, laundry, helping maintain routines and organization, creating engaging activities, and providing a warm, dependable, and supportive environment overall. I also helped care for the family dog.
In addition to nannying, I have a strong educational background and over 4 years of experience tutoring and teaching English to elementary-aged children. I’ve worked with kids ranging from preschool age to pre-teens, helping with homework, reading, writing, Spanish exposure, creative learning, emotional support, and building healthy routines through a balance of structure, patience, and fun.
I’m active, warm, reliable, organized, adaptable, and genuinely love working with children. I enjoy arts & crafts, outdoor activities, sports (especially soccer!), board games, reading, and creating meaningful connections with the kids and families I work with.
I’m currently available for summer and long-term positions, and I’m open to nanny, family assistant, and educational support roles. Excellent references are available upon request
