My name is Klaasie-ann, I am from Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies and I currently reside in New Jersey. My most recent job was as an administrative assistant for safe homes in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. I was fortunate enough to work closely with the children who were in the state’s custody. Hi! I’ve always had a passion for working with children. I’ve worked as a teachers assistant at a pre k school in Hoboken, where I gained experience helping little ones learn, grow and have fun! While I enjoy working in the school I discovered that being a nanny allows me to connect closely with children and families while enjoying the flexibility to give the child more personalized care and attention. I worked as a group leader in an afterschool program with children ranging from 6 years to 12 years old, as well as being a group leader in a summer camp. Additionally when I worked in a family shelter I assisted in planning activities for children such as arts and crafts and trips. I occasionally provided childcare for friends and family, I’ve taken care of babies ranging 8 months to toddlers.
