Hi! I’m Nicole, a caring, dependable, and energetic 20-year-old college student who genuinely enjoys working with children. I first gained childcare experience at 16 through a SYEP after-school program, where I helped supervise and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities while creating a safe and positive environment. I’ve also spent years caring for my younger cousins and have provided babysitting services for two families with children ranging from ages 1-6 and 4-11. These experiences have strengthened my patience, responsibility, creativity, and ability to connect with children of different ages and personalities. I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and have fun while making them feel safe, supported, and cared for. I currently work as a certified lifeguard, supervising children of all ages and ensuring their safety every day. Hi families, I’m Yirma ! I’ve always had a natural connection with children, which started at a young age while helping care for my younger brother from infancy to now, at age 11. I’m the oldest of 4 and I grew up taking care of my younger siblings when my parents had to work. I’m very hands-on and very attentive. I’m clear with my communication, I love to engage while being warm and nurturing. I’ve also worked with the elderly for 2 years and those come hand in hand. I’ve learn to be patience while creating consistency and structure but I pride myself on having the willingness to learn and improve on things I might not know.

Hi! I'm Libbie. I'm a full-time Jewish educator at a fantastic synagogue in the heart of Park Slope, and I'm looking for some part time summer work! As a teacher, I always say that my main goal is teaching joy. I want every child who enters my classroom to know that they belong, they are inherently worthy, that they are wanted. It's my favorite thing to see that knowledge light up a little one's smile. That philosophy carries through easily to all children under my care. Before becoming a teacher, I was a tutor and a nanny, so I'm used to the rhythms of home as well as the classroom! The most important thing to me is to make sure your kids are safe and happy. I'm also extremely musical! I'm in the process of applying to graduate school to become a cantor - I sing and play piano, flute, and guitar, and I love enchanting little ones with music! My name is Ashley I love to serve others, children, seniors, and pets! For Children: I have several years of experience in child care from toddlers to teenagers. I'm gentle, kind and fun. I like to get minds and bodies moving, I won't just put your child in front of a screen! I offer a wide range of engaging and educational activities including arts and crafts, games, nature walks, improve/drama, photography, and cooking. I'm happy to do homework help! I have a degree in computer science and can can tutor your child in math and coding. For Seniors: I can offer seniors companionship and help with basic tasks around the house like cooking and cleaning. With seniors I love to have long chats and hear life stories (I'm a patient listener!) , play card games/backgammon/chess, or take them on walks depending on mobility. For Animals: I primarily have experience caring for dogs, and can also care for cats. I take care of dogs that are small to large (larger dogs must be more friendly, but I don't mind a small dog with trust-issues). I can take dogs on long walks and to the park. I don't have a car but can escort to and from schools or appointments via walking, public transit, or Uber.
