Hi! I am Maria. I am a mom to a 32-year old adult with autism. As a special ed teacher, I have worked with many children with special needs helping them with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc) behavioral and communication adaptations. I can take children to school or other appointments, as well as assist them with homework. I live on the Upper East side and am available to work twice a week. I am allergic to animals so I cannot work in households with pets. I do not speak Spanish. I consider myself to be an organized, compassionate, patient and trustworthy person. I prefer to work with seniors or no more than two kids aged 2 and above.
