I've worked as a Middle School tutor since I was in high school up until college. I worked briefly at an elementary school for 3 months. I'm the oldest sister of my family, so in general, I'm alright with kids. I served as a Cat volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in New York for a summer. Overall, I prefer to work with cats, but I'm ok with other animals (with care instructions, I can pick things up quickly).

After years working in hospitality and most recently as a Corporate Catering Director within a law firm, I decided to take a step in a new direction and focus more intentionally on the things that have always mattered to me: psychology, wellness, and working with children. I’m currently pursuing my degree in Psychology while continuing to deepen my yoga teaching practice. I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), certified in Children’s Yoga, and CPR/AED/First Aid certified for both adults and children. Caring for children has also been part of my life for many years. I began babysitting and nannying in high school and continued throughout my early college years. Today, I’m also a very involved aunt to my 6-year-old niece and almost 1-year-old nephew. My niece, Emily, is on the autism spectrum, and spending time with her has given me an even deeper appreciation for how differently children communicate, process their surroundings, and express their needs. I bring a calm, warm, patient presence into the homes I work in, while still understanding the importance of structure, safety, routine, and play. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and creating an environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and completely themselves.

I am a lifelong babysitter, starting as a mother’s helper at 8 years old for a neighbor and their infant. I babysat throughout high school for an infant until I moved to NYC when she was 8 years old. In college, I worked at a daycare with children aged 12 weeks to 5 years old. When I first moved to NYC I was a nanny for 3 different families with children ranging in age from 8 months to 2 years old. I am currently a 5th grade math teacher and have been a teacher to elementary and middle school aged children for 14 years. I love playing games, reading and going for walks or to the playground. I love to joke around while still have boundaries with kids to keep them safe and learn how to navigate the world around them.
