I have been working with children since 2013. From 2013 to 2016, I taught children in educational settings, which helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills. Since 2014, I have also been babysitting and have experience caring for children of different ages, from newborns to school-aged kids.
I am comfortable caring for multiple children at the same time. Most recently, I cared for three boys at once, managing their different routines and needs, picking them up from daycare and school programs on time, preparing meals, playing with them, and helping with their evening routine. This experience strengthened my ability to stay organized while making sure each child receives individual attention.
I also cared for a baby from 1 month old until her first birthday while her mom attended classes at NYU. My responsibilities included feeding, diapering, playtime, and both daytime and overnight care, including responding when she woke up during the night.
In addition, I have experience as a private tutor for a child on the autism spectrum. This experience taught me the importance of being patient, adapting my communication and teaching approach to the individual child, providing clear guidance, and allowing them to learn and engage at their own pace. I understand that every child has different needs, personalities, and ways of communicating.
I am a cheerful, patient, and dependable caregiver who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I love planning fun, age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, reading stories, playing games, and creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and have fun.
I also love cats and enjoy taking care of plants, and I always treat every family's home with respect and care. My background in psychology has further strengthened my communication, empathy, and understanding of individual differences, helping me connect well with both children and parents.
