I’m an experienced sitter based in the NYC, known for being calm, dependable, and great with evening and bedtime routines. I’ve worked with children of all ages and am especially comfortable with date nights, after-school care, homework help, and settling kids down for the night. Parents often tell me they appreciate my reliability, clear communication, and low-stress presence. Happy to help with light tidying related to the kids, reading, quiet play, and maintaining routines while you’re out. I’m CPR/First Aid certified and have excellent references. Available evenings, weekends, and occasional last-minute requests.

Hi all, I’m Kayla — I’m currently studying to become a grade school teacher, and working with kids is truly my passion. I lead my church’s daycare and have experience with a wide range of ages, personalities, and group sizes. I absolutely love how creative, curious, and different every child is! I’m very routine-oriented and understand how important structure and consistency are for kids to feel secure and thrive. Whether it’s homework help, playtime, crafts, meal prep, or bedtime routines, I aim to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children feel supported and excited. I’m patient, calm, dependable, and big on communication with parents. My goal is always to make your life easier while making sure your little ones are happy and cared for!

I’ve known Kayla and her family for many years through our church, and she has always been such a blessing to our family. My children, Adrian and Elizabeth, absolutely loved their after-school time with her, Sunday classes, and just spending time together in general. She has a natural way with kids that makes them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. Kayla has always been flexible and reliable — whether it was late nights, early pick-ups, or even helping care for the kids when they weren’t feeling well. We truly trust and love Kayla to this day. 10,000/10 — I would recommend her to any family without hesitation.

Hello! My name is Zoe, and love working with kids!My first experience working with kids, was when I went to Nepal in my junior year of high school. There, I taught students photography with my fellow classmates, while also rebuilding their school after an earthquake had hit it. I have also tutored a 1st grader in Phonics, when I was in my senior year of high school. I am looking for a steady job doing something that I love. The joy I have when I am helping and taking care of kids is unmatched. I have my CPR/AED and First Aid Infant/Child/Adult Certification. I have nannied for a few families over the years, and would be happy to provide references upon request. I look forward to hearing from you. -Zoe

Hello Nanny Family, I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and fun! I have a degree in Mathematics, a minor in Adventure Education, I can swim, drive, and I speak English (only). Happy to do household cleaning and laundry. I like working with kids, I find it very rewarding to help guide them to do something new, such as a hard a math problem, a handstand, or an authentic apology. I'm looking for a stable reoccurring job that feeling right for me, the kids and the family. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a baby sitter. Then I was a camp counselor at a Girl Scout Camp I grew up at and I love so much! Since then I have Nannied for families, and babysat. I have worked with children starting at 6 weeks and up. I have also worked at various gyms with kids. An aerial arts gym leading them through aerial silks and aerial hammock, and an American Ninja Warrior Gym, teaching gymnastics and such. In my spare time, I do various circus arts, partner acrobatics, hiking, swimming in the ocean, rock climbing, aerial silks, handstands, and Slacklining. I also sing and play ukulele, crochet, do crafts, weave baskets, and read. One thing you should know about me is l like to think of myself as a fun, but I also do not condone bratty behavior. I would like to think I am quite the opposite to a pushover in that regard. My skills include my playfulness, tutoring, and timeliness. I am adult and child First Aid, CPR and AED certified. Fully vaccinated. I do not smoke. I am licensed to drive. I'm based out of Park Slope and am open for interviews. Have a lovely day! Liz

Liz was our nanny for daughters aged <18 months and 6 years respectively. She was with us until the younger one started pre-school at 18 months and then continued as a periodic sitter for several months more. Her responsibility was solely childcare (no food prep, driving etc.) and they were either at home or went out to the park or for walks around the neighborhood. She was a wonderful, kind, responsible (punctual to the dot!), and joyful personality whom the girls absolutely adored and viewed more as a playmate and friend. Her acrobatic skills were especially a treat as she got the girls being active and doing tricks, which even to this day remains something they enjoy doing (they are now 5 & 10). She also brought lots of fun costumes to play dress up with and they never failed to have a rousingly entertaining time. I highly recommend Liz and I think she'd be ideal especially for very active and creative kids.

Let me introduce myself- I’m monica. I I was born in Colombia, South American, As a child I was adopted and raised in New York City by my mother who was a public school teacher for 36 years before retiring from the NYC Board of Education. I married at a young age and now have an amazing eighteen year old daughter, who is a freshman at college in Michigan. Throughout my daughter’s childhood I was fortune enough to be a full time mother, and so I devoted myself completely to her. I am eternally grateful for my role as her mother. When she was a child, she sang, with the children’s Chorus of New York Metropolitan Opera. Rehearsal, auditions, and picking her up from school took up most of my time. There were many trips to the park, theater performances, dancing classes, and other varied experiences. I have listed these so you will feel assured that I will do these or other activities to enrich the lives of your children. Having been a mother for many years, I feel more than capable of providing care to your child(ren). I love animals and have one on my own. (Pug, Penny)

Monica was awesome. She bonded with my twins right away.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
