Hi, I’m Mia. I graduated from Rutgers University, and as the oldest of five siblings, caring for others has always been a big part of who I am.
I’ve helped care for my younger siblings since I was young, and I’ve spent years caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. My siblings even call me their second mom, which is one of the greatest compliments I could receive.
I’m comfortable with feeding, nap and bedtime routines, homework help, activities, transportation, and creating a safe, positive environment where children can thrive. What I love most is building genuine connections with kids, celebrating their milestones, encouraging their growth, and being a dependable, caring presence in their lives.
I also had the privilege of helping care for both of my grandparents, who lived to 90 years old. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of providing thoughtful support. I’m comfortable assisting with companionship, meal preparation, errands, and day-to-day senior care needs.
In addition to childcare and senior care, I have experience as a household assistant and enjoy helping families keep their homes running smoothly. Whether it’s cooking, organizing, tidying up, grocery shopping, or running errands, I’m happy to help make daily life a little easier.
I’m allergic to cats, but I’m very comfortable around dogs and would be happy to work with families who have them.
I pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and I look forward to supporting a family in whatever way they need most.
