Hello! You can call me Fatou for short. I live in the Bronx, willing to commute. I’m 25 years old and a full time experienced babysitter/nanny. I’ve been on Urban-sitter for a year now. I’ve done over nights, school drop offs and pick ups, and occasionally one time jobs as well. Worked with 7 families so far, with 2 families currently. I do well with complex schedules as well. Why babysitting/nannying? Knowing how to take care of kids before becoming a mom myself <3 I’m a former summer camp counselor from the Little Shepards program, had lots of fun going on outdoor trips to the zoo, amusement parks and museums. I’m a big sister as well, my little sister Tita! She’s 8 years old and the sweetest thing ever. We do a lot of our own girly dates like movies, kids spa and quick errands with me. So far we’ve watched The little Mermaid, Moana, Mufasa, and Elio! I have a 2 year old British short hair cat so I have experience with kittens/cats. Definitely look forward to working with you and your little ones soon!

Fatou was amazing! I needed someone last minute and she stepped in and saved the day! She had a great attitude and spent the evening with my 11 year old daughter. My daughter had a great time with Fatou and asked if she could babysit her again in the future. Fatou was punctual and communicative. I was at ease knowing that my daughter was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Fatou.

Hello, My name is Alejandra. I am a costume designer and a naturalized American citizen, originally from Colombia. I moved to New York eight years ago and have been involved in the art world since I was a teenager. I love good music, visiting museums, hiking, going for walks, and appreciating the simple joys of life. Babysitting was my first job when I moved to the U.S., and to this day, it remains my favorite job. I truly enjoy the company of kids—their humor, creativity, and sense of freedom. I have about two years of professional experience, not including a lifetime of caring for my little cousins. I would love to have a child of my own one day, and I will care for your kids the way I would want my future babysitter to care for mine. Sincerely, Alejandra

I have known Alejandra for almost 17 years and she has covered several times for her mom babysitting my children who adored her and she has also worked for my business for several years. I highly recommend her as a babysitter!

Hi, my name is Alejandra, i’m 22 years old. I love working with children because I enjoy their company, as it allows me to be creative, learn from them and help them grow in a safe and fun environment. In addition, I believe that my communication skills and patience allow me to build a relationship of trust with children and their parents. My responsibilities included drive, cook, do crafts and different activities with the children. Additionally, I work as a household, performing tasks such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.

Alejandra is the best! Positive, fun, so kind, organized... my kid liked her immediately and had so much fun 💓 Now I just wished she lived a little closer 😄

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
