Andrea $18 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Andrea and I’m a lifeguard and a swim instructor at the YMCA. I’m certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. I also have an extra certification in teaching kids with disabilities such as ADHD or autism. I’ve been a swim instructor at the ymca for about two years now and have taught kids of different ages and backgrounds. I understand how draining it can be to take care of kids, which is why I’d like to be of help to parents who are overworked or even might just need some time for self-care. I also have a lot of experience with pets and especially cats. I've done a lot of research about pet care on my own time since I own two cats who I greatly care for. I’m definitely open to feeding, walking, or playing with pets. They deserve just as much attention and time as kids! I can cook as well but I am more confident when it comes to vegan/vegetarian recipes. However, I’m open to learning any new kinds of recipes that are out of my comfort zone.

Anais $21 per hour for 1 child

I have worked at a summer program as a tutor/consular preparing higher schoolers for college. My experience during that time allowed me to develop skills that would be useful for babysitting, like time management and comprehension towards the Childs needs, as well as being patient. Being very attentive and alert is another important trait I have as a caregiver. I have also done dog walking and have a dog of my own which I take care of.

Daria 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy watching children learn, explore, and grow. I bring a unique background in music and the arts to create a fun and nurturing environment. In Ukraine, I taught piano, worked with children on vocal training, and even conducted a children’s choir. I also have theater experience and earned my degree as a music director. I’ve been babysitting since 2015, caring for children from ages 2 to 13 as well as teenagers. Every summer, I participated in summer camps as a counselor and helped develop camp programs. I’m fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, which allows me to communicate easily with families. Additionally, I’m trained in CPR and First Aid, ensuring a safe and caring environment for your little ones.

Daria was an absolutely lovely sitter and I can’t recommend her enough. She was extremely flexible and generous with her time and always eager to lend a hand. Whether it be taking my son home from school on short notice or staying a bit later than planned, she truly shows the utmost concern and thoughtfulness when it comes to being there for those she cares for. Daria is extremely sweet, friendly and has the capacity to get along with seemingly everyone, she’s an excellent chatter, listener, and even teacher, being quick to answer all the questions an 8 y/o may have and even including the occasional piano lesson! I can’t say enough good things about Daria and her services and I’m sure you will find her just as amazing as I have!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
