Hi! My name is Nilysha 😊 I’m currently a nursing student with a passion for caring for others, especially children. I’ve always loved being around kids and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. I have experience working with children as both a swim instructor and lifeguard, which taught me patience, responsibility, communication, and how to stay calm and attentive in all situations. I’m also CPR/BLS certified and currently gaining hands-on experience through pediatric and maternity nursing clinicals as I work toward my dream of becoming a NICU nurse practitioner one day. I also grew up as the youngest in a big family and have 10 nephews ranging from toddlers to teenagers, so I’ve been surrounded by kids my whole life! Being involved in their lives has helped me learn how to connect with different personalities and age groups while always being caring, dependable, and understanding. I would describe myself as bubbly, kind, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I enjoy activities like arts & crafts, reading, movies, games, homework help, and simply making kids feel comfortable and entertained while keeping safety the top priority. I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your children, and I always strive to make families feel supported and at ease 😊
