Hi Families!!! I’m so excited to connect with you all. I am a Preschool Teacher/Daycare Provider/Aftercare Teacher based in Brooklyn, New York currently looking for a part time position. My goal as a Nanny is to provide the best environment for both the children and parents, to have the children’s best interest in mind, make sure the children are safe and having fun, and to give my help, support and love. I treat each child as an individual and as if they are a part of my own family and my own children. As a childcare provider, each child’s personal health and safety is of utmost importance to me. I adore being a part of a child’s and family’s growth. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light cleaning, picking up toys, helping children clean their rooms, clean play area, family errands, dishes, children’s laundry, certain meal preparation and keeping the house tidy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the child/children I care for would include artistic activities (painting, crafts), any day trips, reading, writing, movies, park outings, daily walks, play dates, anything I’d bring with me such as drawing books or tutoring material, or just simple one on one time, lots of love and care and attention and anything else that we’ve discussed prior that would interest the child/children. I am CPR, BLS, First Aid, and AED certified. I also offer homework help and Zoom class/Google classroom support if applicable for subjects English, Social Studies & Science for grades K-8.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
