Hello all! I'm looking forward to meeting new families. I have been a childcare provider for twelve years and I love working with kids and babies. I went to FIT for fine arts, and I love to help children learn to paint 🎨 and explore their musical abilities (I teach guitar 🎸). I like to cook🥘, and my favorite meal to make is buttery cheesy pasta with veggies. I like to play music from jam bands like Kruangbin while helping with homework and studying. I know things have been challenging for everyone during this time, and I am happy to be a strong supportive presence for any family who needs me. Creating a positive, loving, tidy, and structured environment is very important. 📚It’s great to have reading time throughout the day and it’s important for kids to learn by example, so I like to read books to the younger kids, and have book time with the older kids where we all read our own personal books. My favorite book is The Girl Who Fell From the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow. For families that like to include technology in their little ones' routine, I like to use fun different language apps to help build a new linguistic foundation. I am an intermediate French speaker so practicing French, in particular, is fun for me. My most recent experience includes working with a 2 year old in Indonesia and two toddlers in Brooklyn. I love playing sports with kids and getting to run outside with them and have as much fresh air as possible. Tag and soccer are favorite games of mine and I like shooting hoops🏀 Everyone's safety is of the most importance, being strict about mask wearing, hand washing, and all around vigilance is essential. Hi there! My name is Brenna, I am 29 years old and have worked in child care on and off since I was 13. I have recent infant and special needs experience. In the past, I worked for various after school programs, and in school support positions. I have experience with children of all ages and abilities, including kids with sensory issues and behavioral challenges. Hello Nanny Family, I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and fun! I have a degree in Mathematics, a minor in Adventure Education, I can swim, drive, and I speak English (only). There, I taught students photography with my fellow classmates, while also rebuilding their school after an earthquake had hit it.
