Jodi 1 review
$35 per hour for 1 child

I’m a mom of 23–year old twin girls, and I ran Mom & Baby Infant Development classes for four years. I now babysit for two local families with one toddler each. I’m located in downtown Tarrytown. References upon request.

Jodi is an amazing sitter! She started caring for our daughter, Rory, when she was about 1 and had a lot of stranger danger. Jodi has a really friendly and joyful way with children and Rory immediately warmed to her. Now whenever Jodi comes over, Rory does a happy dance and is so excited to see her. I can leave the room, get ready upstairs, and then say goodbye without any drama from my very “mommy-centric” toddler. It’s amazing. Jodi sends us lots of photos and videos, and Rory is always laughing, having an amazing time. Can’t recommend Jodi enough, she’s been such a game changer for us, letting us go on dates and actually enjoy them, knowing our daughter is in great hands.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
