Hi parents, Caring for children is more than just a profession for me, it’s a passion that comes from both experience and motherhood. As a devoted mother of two, I understand firsthand the trust, patience and love it takes to nurture and guide children through every stage of development. With over 10 years of childcare experience, I have had the privilege of caring for children of various ages, helping them grow in a safe, engaging and loving environment. I believe every child deserves individualized care, encouragement, and opportunities to learn through play, exploration and meaningful interactions. My approach is centered around creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children feel secure, valued and confident. I take pride in supporting developmental milestones, fostering creativity, promoting positive behavior and maintaining open communication with parents. CPR and First Aid certified which adds an extra layer of reassurance, allowing you, the parent to feel confident that their children are in capable hands. As both a caregiver and a mother, I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your children with the same level of attention, compassion, and dedication that you would. My goal is to become a trusted extension of your family while helping your children thrive, learn, and create joyful memories every day. I look forward to building meaningful connections with families and providing the loving, dependable care every child deserves.

Aleisha is lovely; punctual, warm, proactive and visibly comfortable communicating as well as interacting with kids.

Booked by 212 families in Rego Park, NY

Hello Parents, My name is Patricia, im a Studio Art college graduate and originally from Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. My childcare experience began at the age of 11. Living with both my aunts and uncles under one roof, babysitting my younger cousins wasn't a job it was apart of my life. Before graduating from college, I studied abroad in South Korea. where I taught English as a second language in winter/summer camps for younger learners (age range: 5-10). For the past four and half years, I have had the opportunity to care for children varying in age from 2 1/2 months to 11 years old from UrbanSitter since 2012 and working as an on-call nanny for Bright Horizons agency for 4 years. Currently work as Special Education D75 Paraprofessional for the DOE. Working with Children with ADHD and Autism. What I like most about babysitting is developing activities that focus of creative exploration like coloring, drawing, painting, legos, imaginary story telling, stage play, and going on library/park/ museum outings. I also love reading and sing songs. In my free time, I love practicing Yoga, dance, and reading.

Patricia was excellent! She asked good questions ahead of time to make sure she knew what was expected of her during her care of my cats. She followed up regularly with updates and pictures.

How’s it going , When it comes to raising four boys at home, The safety awareness skills you learn while mothering your own children will stay with you throughout your life. Racing my four boys taught me the stages of childhood development and what to expect at different ages. These skills are useful when working with kids at any time in the future and especially if you are planning on working with children to make living! How to entertain children With enough motherhood skills plus caring for other children, you can have child-entertaining down to a fine art. You can quickly become a master of playing, reading, singing, drawing, improvising, and having fun. Children get sick a lot (particularly when attending childcare centers), so caring for them when they are not well is something you will pick up right away. There are many tactics to know that can make a child feel more comfortable, loved, and to help them recover quicker. You can also learn how to prevent the spread of germs and stop other people from getting sick, including yourself! Helping children to understand their emotions, manage their feelings, and learn the difference between right and wrong behavior is challenging, but it is also a rewarding experience. There are many subtleties to learn and every family may have a slightly different set of disciplinary values they wish to uphold. Sometimes children are prone to tantrums. You can learn to pre-empt trigger situations, and how to plan around them. You can learn the art of distraction (very powerful) and if a tantrum does occur, you can learn how to stay calm in stressful situations while remaining firm with your principles. Child encouragement and motivation strategies! Explaining why things need to be done! Building trust, and; Leading by example. These learned strategies can be invaluable in your day-to-day when dealing with children. I hope this answers some of your questions and please to hesitate to contact me if you are willing to meet. I have excellent references available upon request. My references can attest to my dedication, reliability, and the positive impact I have had on the children I have cared for. Have a bless day.... I

We will definitely hire YOSELINA in the future.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
