Hi! My name is Joanna and I’m currently on my last semester at Borough Manhattan College. I would love to be a babysitter as I’m finishing my college semester as in right now I am a Group Leader at PS34 located in Brooklyn and for the past years 3+ ive been doing help with homework, arts and crafts, literacy, stem, and even dance lessons.

I am a very caring and responsible person that understands the seriousness of taking care of someone else's loved ones, but I can also be very goofy and imaginative when appropriate. With children, I believe in the importance of fostering natural curiosity, critical thinking, and imagination. I also believe in the importance of spending time outside, being artistic, and engaging with new learning experiences for young children's development and sense of confidence. I have direct experience working with kids from spending many summers as a counselor/aide at my own summer camp throughout high school, an education intern both at an environmental camp and a local zoo, and from nannying a 3 year old for 6 months. In addition to that, I am a big sister and because of that I've always had a parenting/maternal side to myself unlocked. I love being outside, playing games, and I am very crafty (painting, drawing, clay/sculpture, collages, dress-up). I also have 3 years experience as a pet walker/sitter and am always open to pet care opportunities as well.

Hi - my name is Sylvana and I just graduated from Williams College. I offer childcare, senior care, and household services. I love helping out with kids, and have been babysitting since I was in the eighth grade. I grew up in New York, so I’m very familiar with babysitting in the big city! I am also an experienced academic tutor, and am happy to assist in homework help and other miscellaneous tasks. I am able to run errands for the household, or assist in cooking or cleaning. I am also experienced in caretaking roles, and would be happy to help out with senior tasks— I am able to cook and clean, and am always happy to chat.
