Hi families! My name is Natasha, and I recently graduated from Bank Street College of Education with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I have experience working as a preschool teacher, nanny, babysitter, and in after-school programs. Over the years, I’ve cared for children of different ages and needs, including school pickup/drop-off, evening care, overnight care, and weekend babysitting. I also have experience supporting children with special needs, including autism, sensory processing differences, and deafblindness. My background in early childhood and special education helps me create a patient, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel safe and encouraged to grow. I love planning fun and meaningful activities such as imaginative play, arts and crafts, reading, sensory activities, and outdoor adventures. One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching their confidence, creativity, and curiosity grow as they learn about the world around them. In my free time, I enjoy reading, building Legos, and visiting museums. I look forward to connecting with your family!

Natasha arrived on time and enthusiastic to care for our son. She kept him entertained with many activities and stuck to his daily schedule. She sent updates during the day to keep us reassured. Would definitely book her again!

How’s it going , When it comes to raising four boys at home, The safety awareness skills you learn while mothering your own children will stay with you throughout your life. Racing my four boys taught me the stages of childhood development and what to expect at different ages. These skills are useful when working with kids at any time in the future and especially if you are planning on working with children to make living! How to entertain children With enough motherhood skills plus caring for other children, you can have child-entertaining down to a fine art. You can quickly become a master of playing, reading, singing, drawing, improvising, and having fun. Children get sick a lot (particularly when attending childcare centers), so caring for them when they are not well is something you will pick up right away. There are many tactics to know that can make a child feel more comfortable, loved, and to help them recover quicker. You can also learn how to prevent the spread of germs and stop other people from getting sick, including yourself! Helping children to understand their emotions, manage their feelings, and learn the difference between right and wrong behavior is challenging, but it is also a rewarding experience. There are many subtleties to learn and every family may have a slightly different set of disciplinary values they wish to uphold. Sometimes children are prone to tantrums. You can learn to pre-empt trigger situations, and how to plan around them. You can learn the art of distraction (very powerful) and if a tantrum does occur, you can learn how to stay calm in stressful situations while remaining firm with your principles. Child encouragement and motivation strategies! Explaining why things need to be done! Building trust, and; Leading by example. These learned strategies can be invaluable in your day-to-day when dealing with children. I hope this answers some of your questions and please to hesitate to contact me if you are willing to meet. I have excellent references available upon request. My references can attest to my dedication, reliability, and the positive impact I have had on the children I have cared for. Have a bless day.... We will definitely hire YOSELINA in the future.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
