Hello! My name is Gabrielle but I prefer being called Gabby. and I’m currently a 3rd year at Guttman Community College. I am looking forward to working with children in child care. I love babysitting because it rewards fun ways to spend time with children and build a positive relationship and see them learn and grow. I also enjoy experiencing the world through a child’s curiosity that allows me to interact and socialize who they are. My experience in babysitting are meal/snacks preparation, assisting homework and activities, diaper changing/bathing, ensuring a safe environment for children and definitely communicating with their parent/guardian about the child’s progress how they are doing. I have worked in childcare for about 3+ years at a afterschool program for quite some time when was about 14-15 years old since 2018 is when I first started working with children in different schools but outside of that I have taken care of my 6 siblings throughout my childhood. Hi! My name is Andrea and I’m a lifeguard and a swim instructor at the YMCA. I’m certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. I also have an extra certification in teaching kids with disabilities such as ADHD or autism. I’ve been a swim instructor at the ymca for about two years now and have taught kids of different ages and backgrounds. I understand how draining it can be to take care of kids, which is why I’d like to be of help to parents who are overworked or even might just need some time for self-care. I also have a lot of experience with pets and especially cats. I've done a lot of research about pet care on my own time since I own two cats who I greatly care for. I’m definitely open to feeding, walking, or playing with pets. They deserve just as much attention and time as kids! I can cook as well but I am more confident when it comes to vegan/vegetarian recipes. However, I’m open to learning any new kinds of recipes that are out of my comfort zone.
