Hi! I’m Gabby. I’m 28 - born and raised in NYC. I’ve had a huge passion for childcare since being a teen. Most recently I babysat for 2 gorgeous twins - 1 boy and 1 girl from their ages 5-7, until they moved away in 2024. I built a strong bond with them almost instantly that only got stronger over the 2 years. Since then, I've been doing occasional gigs here and there, but I hope to find more steady work. I’ve had several other jobs related to child care as well as pet care. I’m naturally a very nurturing person, so babysitting especially is something I gravitate towards. It’s also in my blood as I come from a line of teachers! My grandmother was a teacher in her day and my mother is an assistant teacher at an amazing nursery school! Everyday she comes home from work excited to show me new pictures of her babies at school - so sweet. Aside from childcare, I also have a background in art from my father’s side. As much as I love children, I'm currently finishing up a degree in Interior Design at Parsons (all asynchronous classes, so it would not interfere with my schedule). My favorite thing in the world is being able to combine my two passions – childcare and art! After years working in hospitality and most recently as a Corporate Catering Director within a law firm, I decided to take a step in a new direction and focus more intentionally on the things that have always mattered to me: psychology, wellness, and working with children. I’m currently pursuing my degree in Psychology while continuing to deepen my yoga teaching practice. I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), certified in Children’s Yoga, and CPR/AED/First Aid certified for both adults and children. Caring for children has also been part of my life for many years. I began babysitting and nannying in high school and continued throughout my early college years. Today, I’m also a very involved aunt to my 6-year-old niece and almost 1-year-old nephew. Hello! I'm Brooklynn, a freshman at NYU Tisch. I've been working with kids for 1-2 years now, but I've been taking care of my baby cousins since I was in middle school. I love music, watching movies, reading, cooking, and baking! I am willing to do whatever house care and cooking you need, but running errands might be a little tricky for me to do. I also have 3 dogs at home and am very familiar with their care! If you have any other animals, I am willing to do my research beforehand.
