Here is my childcare experience: · 2023–mid 2024 (1.5 years as an Au Pair): Cared for a 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy – school pickup/drop-off, extracurricular activities, homework help, meals, and Chinese lessons. I also part-time cared for a 1-year-old boy (diaper changes, feeding, playing). · Since August 2024: Take care of two boys (now 8 and 9 years old) on weekday afternoons – picking them up from school, cooking dinner, and daily routines. · Weekends: Care for a 4-year-old boy – puzzles, picture books, park visits when weather permits. Before coming to the U.S., I worked as an English teacher at a private school (2[removed]), then as an online Chinese teacher for international students (about 1.5 years). In total, I have over 5 years of experience with children of different ages. Due to my school schedule next semester, I will not be available on Mondays and Tuesdays (full day) . I am available on other weekdays (afternoons/evenings) and weekends. My ideal rate is 30-35 per hour. I am comfortable with pets (I have two cats at home).

Hi! My name is Andrea and I’m a lifeguard and a swim instructor at the YMCA. I’m certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. I also have an extra certification in teaching kids with disabilities such as ADHD or autism. I’ve been a swim instructor at the ymca for about two years now and have taught kids of different ages and backgrounds. I understand how draining it can be to take care of kids, which is why I’d like to be of help to parents who are overworked or even might just need some time for self-care. I also have a lot of experience with pets and especially cats. I've done a lot of research about pet care on my own time since I own two cats who I greatly care for. I’m definitely open to feeding, walking, or playing with pets. They deserve just as much attention and time as kids! I can cook as well but I am more confident when it comes to vegan/vegetarian recipes. However, I’m open to learning any new kinds of recipes that are out of my comfort zone.
