Hello! My name is Sam and I would love to help out your family in whatever way I can! All throughout college and highschool I lead a group of middle schoolers through a program back in Georgia. This included weekly visits and taking them on trips. I also was a camp counselor for a camp called Lighthouse Family Retreat where I would take care of families whose children have cancer. This included watching over kids of all ages. Both of these experiences have made me great with kids elementary to highschool age! Hi! My name is Fatima, I am currently a student at Fordham University and live in the UWS. I am offering child care and am more than happy to work with pets of any nature. I have worked with toddlers and kids since I was 15. However, I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by children pretty regularly my whole life. In addition I was a teaching assistant for the Center for Talent Development program for gifted youth through Northwestern University. I love to participate in both creative and physical activities with kids including arts and crafts as well as playing any sports if they are interested (I was a gymnast for 9 years and a tennis player for 6 years). I am bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English), able to drive if needed, take direction very well, can cook, and am extremely patient when it comes to varying moods that children are naturally bound to have. I am well versed in negotiating with young ones so they may feel heard. I always strive to make sure we are able to reach a middle ground when needed that is appreciated by the parents as well as the children. I have offered to take care of family members' and friends' children on several occasions because I am passionate about interacting with, understanding, and caring for children seeing as my career aspirations relate to such ideals. I am also older sister to two wonderful siblings.
