Kiersten $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Kiersten. I’ll be 27 years old in October. I have abit of experience with children. I used to babysit a toddler when I was younger for maybe a year til his parent didn’t need me any more. Then I had my neice and 2 nephews living in my family home. My neice is now 7 years old, a 5 year old nephew and a 3 year old nephew. I would watch them usually about 2-3 times a week or every once in a while, I’d watch them overnight before I moved to Columbus area. I’m very caring and patient with them. I’ve loved watching them. I also have 10+ yrs of experience dog watching as well. I am a shift manager at a dog daycare and boarding facility. I’m good a medicating and taking dogs for a walk or just letting them get their exercise in their back yard. I give lots of love and attention to them.I love all breeds and ages of pups!

Sara 2 reviews
$15 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Sara, and I moved to the Columbus area with my husband in 2022. I am offering child, senior and pet care along with household services. I would love to take care of children for a living and I currently have one son of my own, born in 2023. I used to babysit a lot when I was in middle school but have not had the privilege very recently. I went into teaching and didn’t enjoy the high number of high school and middle school students in a class. I was also a semi truck driver, but I no longer wish to do either of those things. I am capable of cooking and learning new recipes. I can clean, do laundry, run errands, get groceries, drive to appointments, and help take care of pets. We had three senior dogs when we got married. I had a beagle mix and he had two corgis, sadly they all passed over the rainbow bridge. We enjoyed the time we had with them and now I enjoy my time with Teddy, our terrier mix. I also enjoy spending time with seniors. There is so much to learn from them. One of the greatest joys I had in my life was getting to know and spending time with my grandfather’s first cousin. She was never married, had no siblings, and never had any children, but she lived the fullest life and had so many stories to tell. I also loved to listen to the stories that my grandmother’s neighbor told. At the time, I did not realize his repetitive stories were the first sign of his dementia. It was sad, but he had great stories. I also had a wonderful time spending time with my great grandmother. I always tell people you weren’t old until you hit 90 because of her. She was always sharing secrets with me. I would love the opportunity to assist you with your child, elderly relatives, pets, and/or household services.

Sara is a very caring and thoughtful person. She loves children of all ages as well as those blessed with many years. She is reliable and courteous. She has experience with the young and the young in heart both as a caregiver and a teacher. Sara grew up with dogs and loves all dogs! She would be a great dog walker or sitter.

Kylee $16 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Ashville, OH

Hi — my name is Kylee and I’m 18 years old. I currently work at an elementary school as a paraprofessional in an SLC classroom, where I assist children with learning and daily activities. I am offering child care services and have experience babysitting for family members and family friends. I have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and behavioral needs through both my school position and babysitting experience. I’m patient, understanding, and comfortable using positive behavior strategies to create a safe and supportive environment. I am comfortable helping with homework, crafts, meals, bedtime routines, and engaging activities. Working in a school setting has helped me build strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm in different situations. I will be attending nursing school next year to become a pediatric nurse, as I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them grow. I look forward to connecting with families!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
