I am a certified Child Development professional, which has provided me with a deep understanding of the developmental stages and needs of young children. Most importantly, I recognize that when your child is in my care, I am entrusted with your two most precious treasures: your child's safety and your home. I am currently certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED for adults, children, and infants. In 2[removed], I trained and worked as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA), spending the majority of that time in nursing homes providing compassionate care to residents. While my nursing certifications are not current, the experience strengthened my understanding of safety, attention to detail, and patient-centered care. I began caring for children at age 13, starting with my baby sister and nephew, and have since gained over a decade of hands-on childcare experience. I’ve babysat multiple children at once, including up to eight during special events, though I prefer a smaller group of around four to five for more personal attention. I also worked as a nanny for two years, caring for a newborn, a preschooler (3–5 years), and a school-aged child (8–9 years). A few years later, I returned to support the same family after the birth of their new baby, helping with childcare and light household tasks. Alongside my background in caregiving and childcare, I’ve spent the past several years working in hospitality at seasonal national park locations. These roles have strengthened my ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and handle busy environments with care and professionalism. Since this work is seasonal, I’m looking to fill the downtime between park contracts with meaningful, family-centered work—returning to what I’ve always enjoyed most: helping care for children and supporting families in their day-to-day routines.

Hi! My name is Hailey, I'm 27, and I have quite a bit of experience with children. I've baby sat all the kids in my family (over 10 of them) for long periods of time from newborn all the way up. I am 12 years older than my sister and I basically raised her. My little brother just turned 1, I've watched him quite a few times since he was born. I've worked the nursery at my church as well as a daycare. I originally went to OSU for early childhood education! I'm also great at housekeeping, I have cleaned residential houses, airbnbs, and hotels. I don't have much experience with cats but I LOVE dogs, I worked a job cleaning up dog waste so I'm also good at that lol, I do love to give them baths and I've dog sat for many people I know. I myself have a 4 month Morkie :)

last summer i was a full time nanny, and this summer i occasionally babysit for a family due to me working at a store this summer! my aunt who has 5 kids all under the age of 13, has me come up to kansas city for a week at a time the past couple summers to babysit her kids all week. i have other family who i have babysit for for the occasional date nights. In the fall i will be attending ou, and due to my class schedule i have different times i can work! i’m super invested in making it fun, safe, and reliable for kids and parents. i’m super patient and responsible, and i also love to cooke, so i could also help out with making meals for kids/families. im comfortable with dogs, as i have 2 dogs myself! i have a super reliable car, as well as being a safe and cautious driver. im willing to pick up from school/go on fun activities, or even run errands for your family!
