I have a BFA in Studio Art from Western Washington University and have spent the past two years working at arts-centered preschools where I lead weekly projects for the students. Their fresh approaches and willingness to experiment are incredibly inspiring for me. I love babysitting and nannying because it gives me the opportunity to work one on one with kids which isn't always possible in a preschool environment. I love being a nanny since it is so much fun to build relationships with kids and watch them grow and develop their interests, character and personality. I have worked for multiple nanny and babysitting companies ~I have worked as a Behavior Technician as well as a Special Needs Paraeducator for various school districts. Both one-on-one and in group settings with kids with a variety of behavioral issues and developmental disabilities, mostly on the autism spectrum. ~Academically I have experience being a tutor and am very familiar with K-12 curriculum in the area, mostly at the elementary level. ~When I was a Teacher Counselor at a residential treatment facility I helped with leading, mentoring, modeling, facilitating groups and upbuilding youth socioemotionally.  ~I have 3 kids so I'm very familiar with how difficult it is to raise kids these days. It is definitely the hardest job being a parent but its the most rewarding also!
