Hello! My name is Amanda, but many people know me as Bambi. I moved to Los Angeles from Kentucky several years ago and have built my life around caregiving roles—as a nanny, caregiver, and server. I have recently relocated to Oregon, and love it so much! I've always had a nurturing, empathetic presence, and I find deep fulfillment in supporting and enriching the lives of others, especially children. I bring creativity and joy into my caregiving, especially through music—one of my greatest passions. With a background in music, I love incorporating singing, rhythm, and playful learning into my time with kids. I also absolutely love animals! I have experience as a daycare attendant at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all breeds and personalities. I grew up with a strong example in my own home—my mom has been a kindergarten teacher for over 20 years. I have over ten years of teaching and childcare experience with multiple ages and have also worked as a in home dsp. I enjoy very much seeing the self confidence in my students and as a in home direct care provider I enjoy the variety week to week that the job brings to it. I as a preschool and daycare center teacher have worked in infant rooms through school age rooms. I as a long term in home direct care provider one on one helped children up to the age of 12 develop daily confidence building learning and communicatiinal skills who were diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. I also have worked as a professionally trained small group reading literacy tutor to first graders in the Reynolds school district.

Hi! I’m Mara, an experienced nanny who grew up in a big family with eight kids, so I’ve been around and comfortable with children my whole life. I’ve also been babysitting since I was 15 and have cared for kids of all ages, from infants to older children. I truly enjoy creating a fun, safe, and loving environment for them! I grew up in Redmond Washington then moved to Vancouver Washington 4 years ago. I am currently working at Lakeshore Child Center. I decided to move back to Seattle and attend Seattle Pacific University, majoring in International Business. Now I’m transferring to Washington State University in Vancouver to finish up my degree and continue me real estate licensing. My sister and brother both had kids which expanded my love for childcare and helping them both out. I did childcare for my neighbors all throughout 2020 and worked customer service at a gym after for 3 years. I also was a Food runner/Hostess for a restaurant, and then worked at a fine dining restaurant serving and hosting as well! This summer I did an internship for a real estate agency called The Kelly Group Real Estate, which expanded my love for real estate. As I have gotten older my love for kids and having my own someday has been growing, I have taught kids at church and helped out with childcare as well. I specifically loved the aspect of teaching and watching them grow in personality and intellect!

I am a high school graduate who is currently looking for work with babysitting, because I spent a lot of my childhood doing it unpaid, in that my parents would often visit their friends and bring me along, but I was always 5-6 years older than all of their friends children, so I would end up as the childcare person for the duration of their parties. I’ve always been naturally good at getting along with children, and I have lots of experience with them thanks to the aforementioned parent gatherings. I am looking to go to college next year, where I will be earning a teaching degree before applying to become an elementary school teacher, so I figured that babysitting would be a great part time job to help me get better at interacting with children and childcare situations before I dedicate my life to it.
