I have a strong background with safety focus always being my number one priority. I ensure that no matter the job, your loved ones are taken care of and always safe. I enjoy hiking, swimming, cooking, cleaning, trivia, movies and sports among other things. I have a pretty great sense of humor, and enjoy being able to make daily tasks less stressful. No tasks are too big or too small and I make sure to follow instructions, so that things are done accordingly. I drive a Lifted Jeep Gladiator with 37” tires, so my truck can go pretty much anywhere needed.

Hello! My name is Sarah and I would love to work with your family! I am currently living in Salem and work in Portland where I manage a dance studio and work with children of all ages. I love to dance, be outdoors, cook, and listen to music. I am the second oldest of five siblings and I have always loved to be around kids. I have ample babysitting and petsitting experience from helping with my siblings growing up, family friends, and families I have worked with through Urban Sitters. I am comfortable with all ages, driving, petsitting, house sitting, and doing household chores.

Being brought up in a large family, I have always felt a deep relevance to the world of childhood. Being around and working with many ages I discovered a deep connection to and strong interest in the earliest stages of human life. I find it a profound privilege to provide the gentle, attentive presence that babies need to feel safe and secure as they begin to explore their world. In my most recent role as a 1:4 infant caregiver, I had the honor of caring for a group of four babies starting when they were just seven weeks old. Being a consistent part of their first year allowed me to bond deeply with each child and support their unique developmental leaps with patience and compassion. I believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and nurtured with individualized care that respects their pace, personality, and at home lifestyle. I am now transitioning primarily to in-home care to offer families a more personal, dedicated experience.
