Hi! My name is Maya! I am a second year college student on a nursing track! I am currently taking my prerequisites and I hope to become a labor and delivery nurse one day! I am offer childcare, pet care, and household services! I am a former daycare assistant! I mainly worked with kids ages 0-4 but I also spent time with elementary school children! I have been through lots of medical training in high school. I am also safe sleep certified and have taken courses on early childhood development and enrichment as well as other courses totaling over 12 hours of training in childcare. I have pet sat before and have a cat and a leopard gecko of my own currently but I grew up with pets! I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rats, bunnies, chickens, reptiles, and guinea pigs. I have experience with ill and disabled dogs and cats. I love to clean and find it very relaxing especially when it’s deep cleaning! I also love doing household chores, running errands, and cooking, I even have a food handlers card! I have my own reliable and fully insured car, an unrestricted drivers license, and a completely clean driving record! I’ve never even gotten a parking ticket! I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully getting to know you and your family!

Maya was a great baby sitter for our 2 trouble-maker boys, ages 3 and 4. She responded to our last minute request in less than 10 minutes and was available same day till late night. The boys really enjoyed her vibe and they hit it off right away. She was clean, respectful, on time and overall a great baby sitter. We highly recommend her services and will be using her again in the future!

$35 per hour for 1 child

Being brought up in a large family, I have always felt a deep relevance to the world of childhood. Being around and working with many ages I discovered a deep connection to and strong interest in the earliest stages of human life. I find it a profound privilege to provide the gentle, attentive presence that babies need to feel safe and secure as they begin to explore their world. In my most recent role as a 1:4 infant caregiver, I had the honor of caring for a group of four babies starting when they were just seven weeks old. Being a consistent part of their first year allowed me to bond deeply with each child and support their unique developmental leaps with patience and compassion. I believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and nurtured with individualized care that respects their pace, personality, and at home lifestyle. I am now transitioning primarily to in-home care to offer families a more personal, dedicated experience. Whether you are looking for a long-term addition to your family's routine or simply need a reliable hand for one-time sitting, my goal is always the same: to provide a nurturing environment where your child feels completely loved and supported. I am excited to continue contributing to the beautiful early stages of life in the comfort of the child’s home, where they can grow, feel secure, and thrive.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
