I am currently a stay-at-home mom and my four-year-old son is in Pre-K during the day. I know a lot of families are struggling to find care during the PPS strike and I would love to help out since I have the time as well as any other families that just need a little extra help. I have a BA in psychology and before being a stay-at-home mom had a career in tech sales. I am responsible, reliable, and fun. I am happy to also help out with household chores including laundry, dishes, and light cleaning. As a mom, I know how overwhelming household duties can be especially when you are working full-time. I have my availability listed as M,W,F but I can work any three days that are good for you and your family. I am available 9-4.

I love all forms of art, I have spent a lot of time drawing, painting, wire wrapping, playing guitar, reading and aerial silks. I grew up in Northern California, and just recently moved to Portland. I love spending time with children, and I very strongly believe in positive reinforcement, helping children to find their passions and artistic expression, as well as attachment based child care, I believe that infants and young children need someone who is emotionally available and attentive to their individual needs.

Starting at the age of 12, I have taken care of all my cousins when they were infants. I have since worked as a caretaker professionally and in my off-time. I have also held a previous position as a camp counselor for a grade school summer camp when I was 15 yrs old. I have exuberant energy and a passion for care. I am comfortable with both comforting and gently disciplining those I care for as needed, as well for kids that are on the spectrum and take pride in making the days of those I work with a little bit better each time. I am comfortable working with a range of ages from youth to seniors, and love pets as well.

Hi Portland families! My name’s Kaili! (kay-lee). I work part time at an audiology clinic and am looking to supplement my employment with childcare, both for the income and the fun + engagement not always found in an office. I have experience with a wide range of ages (infancy - teens) and enjoy coming up with activities for enrichment such as art + craft projects, puzzles, sensory stations, board games, neighborhood walks, and story time. Also nothing wrong with a movie + pizza night sometimes :) I’m most consistently available Tuesdays and Thursdays but will consider all gigs, and can be flexible for ongoing care with the right family.
