Hello, my name is Shayla . I am a 22-year-old college student attending the university of Georgia studying to become a speech-language pathologist, or an audiologist. I am also first aid CPR and AED certified in both pediatric and adults. If you would like to see my certification from the Red Cross please let me know and I’ll be more than happy to send it to you.I am a fun, playful, lovable young adult, who loves interacting with kids and has been told she has a great connection of children. My experience comes from shadowing and helping my grandma babysit my sister and cousins over the summer since I was 12 to 18. During my sophomore and junior of high school, I was in an early education class where there was a daycare with 2 to 4 years old I would interact with them three days a week. We would do different activities with them For example, we would go on the go outside on the playground, make art projects, helped them with their ABCs and counting. Since joining the site, parents have trusted me to watch their Two and four year old siblings. Occasionally, I also watch sisters that are five and 10 years old. Most recently I’ve been trusted take care of a six month old for the day and the allowed me to bring her to my apartment since the grandmother was at work, and the mother was traveling. I love the way their minds work. They are so smart and so intelligent at such a young age is very interesting. I will care and look after your children as if they are my own. I will actively report if anything happens and would love to be known of any allergies or any fears that they may have that prevent them from having good time under my care. Hi! My name is Andrea, but I go by my middle name, Daisy! I started getting paid to work with children at 15, but am the oldest of 5, so I’ve taken care of babies and children for as long as I can remember! I’ve been a babysitter, after school counselor, summer camp counselor, and softball coach since then. I was in the Boy Scouts growing up, so I love the outdoors, swimming is my favorite! I’m also big into baking/cooking, arts & crafts, watching/playing sports and board or card games. When working with kids I try my best to keep their minds moving, in whatever way appropriate for their age! I’m also a student at Clemson University working to get my degree in Animal & Veterinary Science with a concentration in Agribusiness, so I am more than happy to take care of any animal!
