Hi, I’m Lauren! I’ve been babysitting since middle school and have spent years caring for children of all ages, from newborns through teenagers. I also helped care for my nieces from infancy, so I’m very comfortable with bottles, diaper changes, naps, meals, and all the little routines that come with caring for young children. I have a B.S. in Biology and spent eight years working in chemical manufacturing before taking a break to live in Barcelona and study Spanish through full immersion. It might seem like an unusual path, but it taught me to stay calm, adapt quickly, and enjoy learning—qualities I bring with me when caring for kids. My favorite part of childcare is getting to watch kids learn and discover new things. Whether we're reading books, doing crafts, exploring outside, or just turning everyday moments into little learning opportunities, I love encouraging their curiosity while making sure they feel safe, supported, and have fun. Childcare: Newborns through teens, including feeding, diapering, naps, school pickup/drop-off, homework help, crafts, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning activities. Pet care: Dogs, cats, and other household pets. I'm happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and making sure your pets stay comfortable while you're away. House sitting: Bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, taking out trash, rotating lights, and helping keep your home secure and well cared for while you're gone. (I also don't mind light child- or pet-related tidying as part of a sitting job.) I'm dependable, patient, and easygoing. I believe in following each family's routines and parenting style, communicating clearly, and creating a calm environment where children and pets feel safe and comfortable. I was previously Red Cross trained in CPR and First Aid (certification has since lapsed), and safety is always a priority. Hi, my name is Madisyn, I am 18 years old, and I graduated high school in June of 2022. I work at the daycare at Trinity Learning Center. I have my own classroom ranging from 1–2-year-old children, I am an assistant teacher. I have also volunteered before where I work now at Genova Family karate, and I was a summer camp counselor for 4 years for children 5 years old and up. I also know a little bit of sign language and am continuing to learn it; I use it in my classroom where I work. I know signs like more, sorry, thank you, all of the basic manners. I love creating fun learning activities for smaller children, and fun active activities for the bigger children, I like to be very creative.
