Hey there! My name is Claire Massick and I am 24 years old. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids since was 15 years old. My responsibilities have included picking up from school, crafts, tutoring, and summer activities! I am also open to cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Hi there, I’ve been working with children, in a variety of capacities, for almost 30 years, all age groups from infancy to 18. I started babysitting at 13 years old and knew that I wanted to work with and teach children and be a part of their growing years. This established my passion and dedication to the education field. I've been a Preschool, Pre-K, Floater teacher and mentor for the past 15 years. I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, board games/puzzles, arts and crafts, reading, going on walks, etc. Teaching gross and fine motor, as well as phonics is highly important in my eyes. In my opinion and with my experience, I feel the earlier they learn, the easier is it to grasp the information. I love rolling on the ground with children and really getting on their level to play and engage in activities. :) Making a difference in children's lives is my lifelong goal and is very important to me. I enjoy sharing my education skills, assisting with homework, teaching/showing social, emotional as well as communicative skills and being a role model for the younger generation. I also enjoy working with and assisting the elderly and being a caregiver. I've always had a passion for helping others and giving back. I have been assisting the elderly for about 4 years now. I took care of my grandmother for the last 10 years of her life and I also took care of my mom in the last year of her life. I have experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia, stroke patients, Parkinson’s, MS and many other health issues.

I have nearly a year of experience coaching and babysitting children ages 1–12 at The Little Gym, along with infant and toddler care. I also worked over two years in a kennel/vet setting caring for dogs and cats. Additionally, I volunteered weekly at a senior facility in high school and regularly help my grandparents. I’m patient, dependable, and truly passionate about caring for others.
