Hello parents! I believe I have been gifted with the ability to care for young minds. It started when I picked up a part time job working at the Brentwood family YMCA as a Y-play associate. Hanging out with them, caring for them, and being their caregiver gave my soul a boost each time I came to work. It the inspired me to become a full time preschool teacher and I’ve since then only gotten more invested in the role of working with children. Each time I see one even outside of work I’ve acknowledged children feel safe, seen, and heard in my presence. I’m very energetic, creative, and confident in my abilities. I am a 53 year old woman who loves to work with children, seniors and pets. When my children were young, I owned a daycare in my home, for infants, up to school age children. I have raised 2 children of my own, who are both wonderful adults now. For the last 7 months I have been a live in caregiver for an 83 year old, disabled woman. I truly enjoyed caring for this lady, but have moved and looking to watch children again. I have a heart for helping others. In my spare time, I house sit for animals when the pet owners go away, as well as provide dog walking services. I love animals too and would be happy to help in whatever way needed.
