Hi there! My name is Jonalei . I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui. I just recently moved to Knoxville. I am the oldest child out of 7 and my youngest sibling is 11 years younger than me. I grew up as the “second mom” of the house, helping my parents with everything to do with my siblings; dropping/picking them up from school and other activities, helping with homework, cooking meals, and anything else you could possibly think of. I love being around children and being able to help them flourish and succeed every single day. Being crafty with arts and crafts, and going on adventures outdoors are two of my favorite activities. I worked as a long-term nanny for a Seattle family as they grew from having two girls to welcoming a baby boy. The boy is now in elementary school so they don’t need a full time nanny, but I still travel to help them during family vacations and when the parents are out of town. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, caring, & adventurous I started working with kids when I was in high school, l babysat the same families for years. I started pet sitting and house sitting 4 years ago consistently as well. I love to cook, clean, & be active if needed. I have transportation. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends doing things like hiking, camping, thrifting, and antiquing.

I have had experience with children for over 39 years. I started babysitting at the age of 10 on weekends for my sister, by the age of 11 I was babysitting weekends and summers for neighbors and family friends. I have worked with respite care and community networking services for many years. With the past 6 years I have worked both along with substitute teaching for the school board. A lot of the children I worked with being exceptional children. I also have over 35 years of experience as a CNA both licensed and private care. I have worked with all kinds of patients with varying ages and needs. I have profromed household needs and provided companionship and many other services that the patient and families may need.
