August Richardson
$10 per hour for 1 child

Family, when reading the prompt I’m being asked to write for I think of my family. I’m the youngest of 7 children and I have a whole big family. I have experience with a pretty diverse group of people. All the way from my nieces and nephews to helping my grandmother whenever she needs help. I am a pretty laid back guy who usually finds the positives in any situation. I have a lot of experience babysitting my nieces and nephews and strangely enough taking care of dogs and cats and a singular parrot named fruit loop. I listen to a lot of music and cook quite often. Hopefully one day I will get onto Iron Chef. I have a day job working in IT so I can also help if your internet ever stops working. Working in IT I work with people who don’t usually understand how things work and I think I’m pretty patient with anyone especially when people are upset. I stay home and work for the most part but the highlights of my week is hanging out with my best friends. It says mention talents which I don’t have many of but I’m pretty good at any sport I touch and I like to think I’m a good singer. Let me know if you have any questions!

LILIANE Garland
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, my name is Liliane. I wear many hats. I primarily work as a senior care provider for private clients in the comfort of their home, or as a one on one caregiver in facilities. I'm also a former pre-school/infant/toddler teacher, licensed in the state of MA. I have over 20 years cumulative experience in both fields (senior care and child care). I provide seniors with assistance in all activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, continence and dietary needs), medication assistance, light house keeping, appointments, errands, and companionship. I also enjoy caring for, and working with younger children. It was my initial passion and still close to my heart. If you or a loved one is looking for a private, dependable, long-term, compassionate and experienced caregiver or child care provider, please reach out. My availability is currently flexible, and I can do full time or part time depending on care needs. I have a recent clean DMV/ driving record that I can provide upon request, and reliable comfortable transportation. I'm also trained as a Nurse Aide/ Home Health Aide, in CPR/ First Aid, and in Child Growth and Development. Doggie friendly! I have a little maltipoo myself that I absolutely adore.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
